    ü I have a date" does not mean you're going out.
    ü You have baby food in the house and no baby.
    ü "I'm a loser" is a good thing.
    ü All of your silverware says Gerber.
    ü A wooden spoon isn't just for cooking.
    ü "Welcome to the other side" doesn't include death.
    ü New clothes fall off in a week.
    ü You get excited ab
    out hand me downs.
    ü The scale at Wal-Mart no longer says "one at a time please".
    ü Going bald and getting wrinkles is a good thing.
    ü "Just Water for me please".
    ü Hitting the "Century Mark" is actually a good thing.
    ü You can be touched by an angel and still not be considered crazy.
    ü When your rear end no longer looks like a mudslide.
    ü When you get excited that your incision was "only 4 inches".
    ü When the word lap has nothing to do with a strip club.
    ü Other women are calling you names behind your back.
    ü When you are glared at in the plus size department because you don't "belong there".
    ü When you really don't have a thing to wear.
    ü You have to prove you are the person on the driver’s license.
    ü You start being in the pictures not behind the camera.
    ü You want to hug everyone fat and hand them your surgeon's card.
    ü You are never parted from a bottle of water
    ü When you order a doggy bag at the same time as your meal.
    ü Being too small for your britches.
    ü When the only way your nipples are where they belong is to roll them up, position them with your bra and secure with a ponytail holder.
    ü When you go pick up your child at school and all the other kids say WOW you're mom is hot.
    ü When you go to the mall and take the first available space instead of circling 20 minutes for one closer to the door.
    ü You truly are a "cheap date".
    ü When one drink makes you flipping floozy!
    ü When you run to the door and don't hear a flapping sound.
    ü You flip your shirt to show complete strangers your scar.
    ü Vitamins feel like a meal.
    ü You go from a 56DDDD to 32AAA in a year and didn't have a breast reduction.
    ü You've just lost 100 lbs and run into a high school friend who asks "did you change your hair? "
    ü You can cross your legs... both of them
    ü Instead of a Wonder Bra you need a Wonder Where They Went Bra
    ü When your obsession from food turns to your scale.
    ü They no longer call 911 for the Jaws of life to extricate you from a turnstile.
    ü No more Velcro shoes
    ü Tongs are no longer to fry chicken.< /span>
    ü "Checking for leaks" no longer includes your panties
    ü When your Stairmaster is no longer used for drying your fine washables
    ü Your mother says "You don't eat enough"
    `ü When your doctor looks you in the eye and says "I know you will have success with this."
    ü Having sex your husband complains that your hip bones are poking him.
    ü You can wear corduroy pants without igniting a fire
    ü When you wave and your upper arms wave back
    ü You safety pin your underwear
    ü Someone phones and thinks your husband is sneaking around with some skinny mistress
    ü Cannot blame the cat for shedding
    ü Cancel your Lane Bryant Credit Card
    ü 3 Lean Cuisines a week and that's your total grocery purchase
    ü The kids wonder what happened to the cake and cookie god...did he die???

    I actually had several experiences of what I would call dumping. The first time was after drinking my first cup of milk and the second time was recently after eating some extremely spicy chicken. I got flushed, hot/sweaty, and extremely nauseous with cramping and the meals went straight through me and came back out almost undigested. (*tmi).

    Maybe u need to talk to someone bc obviously you have a poor self image. Don't let what others say bring you down. Losing 26 pounds in 1 month is good...that's almost a pound a day. Keep your eye on the end result and build your self esteem.

    i am a nurse and so took 4 weeks off also to be safe. then took it easy the first couple weeks back. staff was great, helpfuland understanding and not letting me do to much.

    So I saw that you live in garden city. I google mapped where a smoothie king is near you

    I haved used the gladiator Protein shake mix (90 cals per scoop, no fat, <1g carbs and <1g sugar) and LOVE it. chocolate is my favorite and you can buy it in bulk powder form also vanilla & strawberry. 2 scoops will give you 45 grams of Protein but when I make it at home I onlly use one scoop with a 1/2c of skim milk and I am still getting 30g of protein per drink in. Have them make you one in the store. see how you like it and then play with different ingredients at home. my absolute favorite is chocolate with a 1/2t of instant Decaf coffee crystals. BTW Protein drinks always taste better to me as a frozen drink. Can not stomach them mixed with a blender ball. I now look foward to my froen chocolate shake every morning

    lobster, crabs, scallops, chopped clams no issues with any of them. the great thing is I bought a 1 1/2lb lobster a few weeks ago and could only eat the tail and I was full. pre-sleeve. i would of had a 3lb lobster, corn on the cob, potato, chowder and maybe some clam cakes to go with it.

    Do you cry when you look in the mirror? Do you have to wear pants with elastic waist? These are a FEW things that got to me and I literally could go on and on and on. The battle physically and mentally of being obese is horrible. I have one thing to say. NEVER question your decision to have this surgery. I literally talked myself out of the operation TWICE. I'm 14 weeks post op and I'm still adjusting to my new tummy but my life has made a 360. I'm falling in love again and the best thing about it. It's with MYSELF. Do this it will be the best thing for u

    I am 15 months out and still drink a Protein Drink every day for breakfast. I am one of those weird people who actually enjoy my Protein drink. Also, my stomach doesn't do well with solids first thing in the morning.

    when I was on weight watchers. I plugged the numbers into their app and even if I used 1000 sprays it would still be a 0 point food. so I would say go for it. as long as it is not an everyday thing

    dont worry... start working on chewing your food and nothing to drink before & after. after your surgery you wont be able to eat fast and will have to take smaller bites

    I wonder if it would get people to ask? If they were interested I would be happy to share my journey and I am only 1/2 way to goal. But I am 100% of the way torwards being happy.

    Someone else had a great idea that I will share with you -- they slice up a cucumber and use that to replace crackers. It lets you eat the spreads with a healthier low carb choice.
    I prefer salty to sugary Snacks, and using Lays would be a gateway for me. I am trying to avoid chips, and it is a struggle for me. I don't recommend using them.

    32 oz of Water is very little. My program wanted us getting at least 64 oz a day by the 3rd week post op. I would suggest you try to double your water.

    there are some days i feel like I can eat all day and get 1200 calories in and then there are other days that I barely able to get 500 in. Instead of freaking myself out over it, on MFP go to the weekly totals and see if you are still in target range. some days I have way more carbs/fat than I should but I make it up on the other days of the week and I just make sure by the end of the week everything equals out, also, try not to graze, which doesnt keep us full very long. 3 meals and 2 Snacks. good luck

    206 this morning. So close to onderland I can taste it. I have my one month follow up today too so I may graduate out of soft food. I can't say how glad I am I did this operation!

    it takes a few week. but it then will become habit. you can do it. set a timer so you dont have to watch the clock and see if that helps. go for a quick walk.
