  1. I was not on a preop diet either. I didn't have any problems. There are a number of us on here whose doctors didn't require them too. Good luck.
  2. I am Sorry to hear about your troubles. Are you sure, though, that our doctor intended for you to up your sugar as in real sugar? I'm sure he meant sugar in food. In that case, fruit would be a great option that would also help with constipation. Have you tried any fruits? I think, like the other poster said, that it may be well worth your while to have a set schedule for your eating. Best of luck and well wishes to you.

  5. I had very immediate nauseous response to both BA and Celebrate vitamins. I gave up on them and am now taking GNC be whole multivitamins. They are regular vitamins that you swallow but not difficult for me at all. Incidentally, I have been searching for physiological reasons why they made me so sick and the ingredients are very similar to the GNC vitamins except that there is Iodine in the bariatric vitamins, which isn't in the GNC. I'm not saying that's the cause, but I don't know why the reaction is so strong for so many people.

  7. So sorry to hear about your struggles. Hopefully that is all behind you now, and you start feeling well soon. Keep us updated about your recovery. Best wishes for health and healing!
  8. Better to be safe. Call your Dr. ASAP!
  9. Thanks, y'all. My weight loss is a bit slow, but I see many people stressing about being slow losers, so I thought if there were some more seasoned voices who had felt the same way, it would give us all hope.
  10. OK, so I know that MANY,MANY people post and repost about stalls and not losing and frustration. Often, people's responses seem to be not to worry it will happen. What I would love to know is are there any folks who have lost a significant amount of weight and are at least say 6 mos. out who were "slow losers" and thought that the sleeve wasn't going to work for them?
  11. Are you sure it is really thigh muscles and not related to hydration or nutrition? I have a hard time getting up the stairs in the morning, but later in the day I feel fine. I think it is nutrition/hydration for me.
  12. Wonderful news. I'm so happy for you. God willing everything is on the mend!
