So has anyone experienced loss of strength in leg/thigh muscles. Ive been having problems walking up stairs an getting off of seats. I know i need to start strength training but this scared me.

Are you sure it is really thigh muscles and not related to hydration or nutrition? I have a hard time getting up the stairs in the morning, but later in the day I feel fine. I think it is nutrition/hydration for me.

Unfortunately its all through the day I have to physically find ways to push myself up or hold onto railings :(

Get some resistance bands when you're clear to use them' date=' and do resistance assisted squats. You'll work the leg muscles back up in no time, and it's pretty easy to do.[/quote']

Im gonna get some today :)
