Made these the other night and they were yummy! They aren't very sweet though so if you want a little more sweetness add some Splenda or even some honey or agave. The calorie info for these is without any of that though. Going to add some dries cranberries in next time!
1 banana (mashed up so it's smooth)
    1/2 cup whole oats
1/2 scoop of vanilla Protein powder (could use more but didn't want an over powering whey taste)
    1 egg white
Mix the banana, Protein and egg white together. Add the oatmeal and combine. Drop Cookies on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 15 or so minutes until light brown. They don't have a cookie texture per say but are a great snack if you have a sweet tooth or even as a Breakfast treat!
Here's the nutrition info for one cookie. This made me 4 Cookies.< /p>

I found this recipe on Pinterest and it was sooooo good!! The crust tastes like real bread crust!!
    3 eggs separated
    1/2 tsp cream of tarter
1/2 cup of unflavored whey Protein powder
3 oz cream cheese ( I used the fat free)
Spices ( I forgot to add some and it was still good)
Pre heat oven to 375. Separate the eggs and whip the whites and cream of tarter until very stiff. Slowly sift in the Protein Powder to the whites. Using a spatula, gently fold in the softened Cretan cheese into the whites. Spray lasagna pan with Pam and spoon mixture in the pan. Bake for 18 minutes. Take crust out of the oven, add sauce and toppings and put back in oven until cheese is melted. I used Ragu pizza sauce, 2% cheese and turkey pepperoni. Enjoy Let me know how yours comes out. It was really very good- could hardly tell it was not a traditional crust!! Sent from my iPad

It's been posted before but I cut it in half because I wanted to try it first before making a larger batch. I thought this was really big enough for me.
oatmeal ( not instant) 1/2 cup
    chocolate Protein powder 1/2 cup ( I used powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury powder)
Peanut Butter 1/2 cup ( I used chunky Skippy)
sugar free maple Syrup ( enough to make mixture come together)
    Splenda sweetener packets 3
Heat Peanut Butter in microwave until warm. Add the oatmeal, Protein Powder and Splenda mix together with a spoon or fork. Add enough sugar free maple syrup to make the mixture come together so you can roll it into balls. I made them about an inch and got 12 balls out of this recipe . I still have to figure calories and Protein amount.
Refrigerator or freeze in airtight container.

Each week, I watch as my email fills up with the successes of the people of the page. I have yet to post because I have not had a successful week in almost 6 months.
I'm filled with jealousy and disappointment.
The last six months have been filled with complications, pain, asthma, vomitting and nausau and now, an additional surgery is scheduled. I am 11 months out and after dropping 100lbs in 6 months, I haven't lost a lb in 5 months.
I'm not giving up. I'm on a new medication to deal with the extreme acid reflux that leaves a horrible burning in my stomach and throat. Now, I have less urge to eat to soak up that nasty acid feeling. I've worked out a meal plan and
My goal for this week is to post that I've lost 2lbs on the 9/1 Super Saturday Weigh In.
    Wish me luck. :-D

I have been a DD since I was 15 regardless if I was 135lbs or 300lbs. Now, I'm down Almost a 100lbs and they are so gross. They look like deflated balloons. My boobs were always my 'good feature'. Not any more.
I will be buying new ones too.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pleased with the 92lbs but to not see that scale move in months is so discouraging. Especially since this is the time when we should be losing the most. The depression from lack of losing just triggers the eating. It's a vicious cycle.
Im going to take some of the advice and start journaling again and go back to liquids for a few days to 'detox' of the crap that I ate. I

The only person I refuse to tell is my sons father, and mostly because it's none of his GD business. Although I will admit, when he picked an argument with me a couple of weeks ago and was reduced to calling me a fat effing biatch, all I could do was smile and think to myself "Not for long sucker!" - Never engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person - they get backed into a corner and have to call names to feel good about themselves...
Most people at my work know about my surgery, all of my friends and family know, and I openly discuss it on my FB. I'm not ashamed, but if there's someone I didn't tell it's probably someone I don't care about anyway. I surround myself with people who love and support me and show everyone else the door. My feeling is that if there's someone in your life that doesn't support you, they're not worth your time. Nobody needs that kind of negativity in their lives.

KateMarie got a reaction from shellnsons in Depression After Gastric Sleeve Surgery
For about a year and a half prior to surgery, I was on Wellbutrin, an antidepressant. My life was miserable and I just couldn't fit off the crying spells. The PCOS caused my hormones to go crazy so that didn't help either.
After my sleeve on 9/13, the dose I was on was an extended release so I couldn't crush it. It took the drs over a week to find a type that could be crushed. By then, I had went through full withdrawls as I tried to recover from this major surgery. It was not fun. If I go back and read my posts in this forum during the time, I can tell I was bitter and not medicated.
After the shock wore off, I decided to go med free. I'm at 9 weeks tomorrow and doing ok. I will not hesitate to go back on the medicaiton if I feel myself headed down that dark road to depression.

well.....I think it's high time your hubby learns to cook:) I think he can probably figure out how to make a sub, I mean they hire high school students to work at subway right? I know about responsibilities to husband and yes they can be like babies at times, but he has to understand how hard it is for you to be cooking for him and try to do it for himself until you have passed some of your wls milestones, one of which is the actual surgery. Right now you have a regular sized tummy and you CAN eat, once you have your surgery you will crave different things and want to eat different things, sometimes I have no appetite at all and could cook up a storm and not be tempted to eat it. So, it is my humble opinion that hubby should support you a little bit more by cooking his own meals until you are psychologically able to do it for him......I hope that was not offensive:(
