  1. I agree, what a difference! Great job Chrispy! Glad you are feeling better too!
  2. Perfectly normal, I burp all the time.
  3. I ride all the time, we do make stops so that I can drink some water. With Texas heat, it is necessary for me to drink often. Eating wise, I can eat most anything, just not as much of it. My DH cleans up what I can't eat! I don't have trouble with the band at all while riding, unless I wear a tight waisted pair of pants, then it makes my port hurt. Enjoy your riding!
  4. I drink coffee every day! No problem here!
  5. I eat salads all the time! Each person is different, and until you try something you won't know. Also, if you can't eat it at first, wait for a while and then try it again.

Trish with all you went through I think 70 pounds is wonderful! Glad to see you are doing good! Hope you keep posting too!
  7. I pay $200 for a fill and $200 for an unfill!
  8. Welcome to bandland!
  9. Welcome to LBT and to bandland! Glad you found us!
  10. Hello Y'all! Sorry about being MIA so much, just a lot going on right now. I have been trying to get the house cleaned and laundry done today as I didn't get much done yesterday. I have read all the posts, but now I can't remember who did/said what so you'll just have to bear with me for a while. I have been working on taxes, but I am ready to throw the damn things away~ I had to quit and forget them for now! Never had this much trouble in my life, and I have been doing them since I started working! Darcy - Yeah! Come on down to Texas! You'll love it here! Sorry about the treadmill, maybe DH can fix it for you. Mine broke a while back and DH fixed mine with a new switch. It's not as pretty as it use to be, but it works! At least I think it does! :heh: :heh: :heh: Kat - Sorry about your friend! It is so hard to lose someone we love. I am putting a pork roast in the oven, not only does it make more than one meal, it warms up the house while it cooks. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Eileen - Did you get a lot of snow? Hope you stay warm Sweetie! Cindy - You are certainly a good camper to do those girl scout cookies in the cold like that! I saw a group inside Sam's here sitting at a table selling them. Why can't you do that? Chrispy - Sounds like you might have popped a stitch. Keep an eye on it and let us know how you are doing. Mary - Did you win your bid on the jeans? Sherry - I know you want to be tight and all, but it you don't quit the reflux, you will damage your esphogus. It seems like once you do that you have trouble forever. Just a slight unfill will do the job. Beanie - How's the exercising going for you? The lottery is getting pretty big right now! Dianne - How are you doing? Just thinking about you!:clap2: Well, going to go get some more work done, I want to check the board and then get moving before I get too tired to do it. Later!
  11. I use straws all the time and it doesn't bother me, but I have heard some people say it gave them gas really bad. I think you just have to try it and see for yourself.
  12. Mine was uncomfortable for a few months, but it's fine now. Once in a while I have a problem wearing jeans though.
  13. No threads are off limits to anyone on LBT, and for someone to tell you not to visit one is over stepping their bounds. If the people from Canada want to have a place to talk and not have any other people in their conversations they need to go to e-mail. I accidently posted on a thread once and ended up there posting daily. I have met lots of great friends there, and intend on meeting them in person some day. Hang in there, you didn't do anything wrong! :rose:
  14. Morning Y'all! TGIF! I can't wait for the day to be over with. I have been trying to work on the taxes, not good so far! I'll say one thing, if I had a daughter, she would not get that shot for now. This is a brand new thing out, they don't even know what the results will be further down the road. Just look at what the hormone replacement did after it was approved and applauded for so many years. I think it is too new, not enough time yet for it to be mandated to all young girls. It might be a very good thing, but I would have to wait to see what some of the results might be in at least 5 years. Gotta run folks! I'll try to catch up with personals this weekend. I only saw about 5 bad posts this morning, you would think they would give up pretty soon. I don't think they even look at them after they post. They just get paid for how many they post!
  15. Good Morning Y'all! Well, I spent all my time this morning deleting the nasty posts on here. Must have been about 15 of them this morning! I would think people could earn a living someway other than that! I don't have time for personals this morning. I have been exercising every night though so I feel like I am doing something right. Darcy - Why don't you take it to another dealership? Your warranty is good at any of them. We have a Chevy dealer here that nobody wants to do business with because of some of the same reasons. I went there when I first moved here, and found out fast it is not the place to take my car for anything. Gotta run!
  16. Good Morning Y'all! Just poking my head in to say hey, not much happened since last night. Kat - I am sure glad you had the police go with you, that guy sounds awful hot headed, and it's hard telling what he would have done if you had been alone. Be careful around that one! Everyone have a great day!
  17. Welcome to bandland and to LBT! You'll find lots of information here just for taking the time to sit and read it all! Good Luck!
  18. Good luck, and welcome to LBT!:biggrin1:
  19. Welcome to LBT! Great job you have done with your band!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  20. I didn't have to do a preop diet either, don't worry, you'll be fine.
  21. Welcome to LBT! Good luck in your journey!
  22. You just need a fill! Try to make good choices until you get one. You know the old saying "just because you can eat it, don't mean you should". Good Luck!
  23. Welcome to LBT! Congrats on your surgery date! You'll find lots of information here just for taking the time to read it all.
