Hi, Congrats on making the decision. I know it is a scary decision, but i have read a lot about it on this site and researched for about a year. So many people are here to answer your questions. Today is my 4th day post-op. It is not bad at all. If you have any questions just contact me. You will do great!

Hi and welcome! Best of luck to you on your decision. I hope that you don't have to wait too long for a surgery date. I am having my surgery tomorrow-Jan.30th. I am excited and nervous. Gigi:)

my surgery is scheduled for 2/27. We have an exclusion in the insurance so had to go self pay route. No worries though. At least we were able to find a way to come up with some $ to get it going. A bit nervous as I have a major needle phobia.

Guess I should break the news to my regular doctor soon so she knows what is going on. Anyone have to change their medcine they were taking for blood pressure and cholestrol due to the surgery?

I am assuming that the big honking horse pills I take now are not going to work post op.

Wow, at 15. That seems awfully young. Good luck and can't wait to read the after stories
