Eileen you are crazy! Too funny! Hey, you can send DH down here for awhile if he gets too bored. I have lots of things I would like done! I baked a double batch of the Neiman-Marcus cookie, (it made a lot too) and then I was experimenting and used a cream cheese cookie and put fresh lemon juice and fresh lemon zest in it. I used a cream cheese frosting and did the same thing with the lemon. I haven't tasted the lemon ones yet, but those Meiman-Marcus ones are sooooooooo goooooood! Yup, I ate two of them and wanted more! I was going to make some more, but got tired so decided to run a few errands instead. I did mix up some sugar Cookies and put in the fridge for starting on tomorrow. I have to go do billing first, so we'll see. I am going to shoot the sugar cookies with my gun and then frost them. Opps, that didn't sound right. I am going to use my cookie shooter instead of rolling them out. Ahhhhhh, much better. Pat - My kitchen looked much worse than yours did in that picture. I went to open up a big bag of flour, but didn't realize there was a hole in the side of it. I must have hit it when I picked it up. Well, needless to say I had flour all over the floor, and all over the counters. Before I realized I had stepped in it, I walked on the carpet so there was flour all over the carpet as well. Ahhhh, the fun of baking! I have on navy sweats and a navy shirt, but now they are quite white as well. Patty, keep trying, you'll get it pretty soon and wonder what you did different. If you can't figure it out, send the picture to me and I will post it for you. Well, going to get some stuff cleaned up so I can dirty some more cooking supper. Anybody got a chef they can send me for a month or more????? Catch you later!

Just got back home, thought I would see what is going on! Eileeen - I bake all kinds of cookies, sometimes I make coffee cakes, and I make several different kinds of candy. I am not sure yet what all I will do this year. I enjoy doing it, I love it in fact, but it sure is a lot of work, and every year I say I am not doing so much but I always do. Patty - I wouldn't want her at my party either. You might say the boy can come, but not any adults? I know it is very important to get along, especially when a child is so young since they have many years of going between both families. I think you have to follow your own heart and do what makes you happy. I am sure the Dad and Mom set all this up, but if they want to be at a party, let them have their own. Lisa - Out of the mouths of babes! Children seem to be so honest, even when it hurts. I know she loves you very much. Sometimes the reality is just things we don't want or need to hear. Your day will come, and you will be smiling then. Good things come to those who wait! Hugs! Beanie - Where are you girl? Time to get your butt back here with us! We miss you girl!

Good Morning! I have lots of errands to run today, so I guess I will be gone much of the day. I did a lot of cleaning yesterday, so not much of that today. I am so happy the holidays are over with, although I still have lots of junk here! I think I can controll myself though, I didn't eat much of it yesterday. And I will pitch most of it today! I have to get started on some baking soon, I have tons to bake and little time to do it all in. I do most of the baking for the family here, so it takes a lot of time. I also give some to the neighbors Well, got to get moving and get things done! Catch you all later!

What is YOUR Second Option for WLS?
If banding wasn't an option for me, I doubt very likely that I would do any other surgery. I just don't want to mess with my insides in any shape or form.

Hi Y'all! Well, the campfire was great, lots of laughs! I have a great family, they are always so much fun to get together will, always laughing and eating. I don't even want to get on the scale for a while! My fridge is still full of stuff! Then the neighbor called us to come over for a Mexican breakfast this morning. I told them we already ate, but they wouldn't take no for an answer so needless to say we went. I did some cleaning today, along with some laundry. I am tired from all the working cooking all week long. Nothing special going on here today. It is a beautiful day and I am just enjoying it now. The wind is really high though. Pat - I agree, go buy some cookies and wrap them up! I'll never tell! Beanie - When are you going to be home? Hope you are enjoying your vacation. Eileen - That time off really does fly by. Gosh, it is even hard for me to imagine you have already been off that long. Zan - Glad you had such a great time. Almost done shopping, wow! I haven't bought the first thing. Cindy - My thoughts are with you and your family. Well, I'm going to go get my work finished up. I need to start baking some Christmas cookies, but then I would eat some probably, so I better wait till this Thanksgiving is off me! Catch you all later!

Good Morning! It is supposed to rain here this morning, we sure do need it, but it will probably mess up our Harley thing today. Cindy - I's sorry about your G'ma (Hugs). I am sure you are right, she didn't want to leave on your B-day. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Please have a safe trip. Eileen - You have just got it all together! Christmas tree up and all! I don't even want to think about it yet! lol Pat - I have tons of stuff left over, and DB tried to send more home with me! I flatly refused. Hey I have some Turkey, potatoes/gravy, dressing, baked beans, green bean casserole, chicken and noodles, scalloped corn, sweet potato pie, fruit salad, candied yams, cranberries, and probably a lot more that I am forgetting. We haven't even made a dent in it yet! My DH is in his glory though! I laughed my a$$ off when I read your post on your cookies! It's time for me to get started on mine too! That would certainly be fun to meet y'all! I feel like all I have done for a week is eat! Another party tonight! I think we are doing a cookout tonight though, around a big campfire. That sounds nice! Well, gotta run and find out what the deal is with the plans today. Everyone have a great one!

Good Morning! Back to cooking this morning, however, not as much as I did yesterday! I have a few things to cook up to take to DB house today. We postponed it from yesterday to today because my Niece had to have emergency surgery. She is fine now thank goodness. So, yesterday I cooked an entire meal for here! Just call me crazy! DH just loves to have all that food during the holiday so he can snack all the time. I didn't do too bad yesterday, but did feel a little uncomfortable last night from all the extra food. We had turkey, mashed taters, gravy, green bean casserole, dressing, candied sweet taters, scalloped corn, baked beans, cranberry sauce, and sweet potato pie. I always fix chicken and noodles, but I am fixing that to take today, along with a new batch of dressing, baked beans, and fruit salad. I don't even want another dinner today, and with all they fix, it turns out to be twice as much as I had yesterday, and even lots and lots of desserts! Good ones too! I had to laugh, last year I made a sweetpotato pie and my DH new it was a sweetpotato one and said he didn't much care for it. Well, this year he wasn't here when I made it and when he took a piece of it he just raved about it. He told me this morning he got back into it again last night and told me it was such a good pumpkin pie! I'll never tell! Then tomorrow we have a Harley deal going on (if it doesn't rain) and then in the evening it is back with the family again for a cookout! Woe is me! Cindy - We have been married 15 years, however, we have been together for 22 years. Eileen - Nope, I am not going near any stores today! Let them fight all by themselves. I went the first year we were here, and I was going after one thing, this cd/radio player. Well, I think everyone there was after the same thing. The lady behind me tried to grab it form over my back and take it out of my arms. I fought her back and won though! It is really bad here in the metro-plex because of the large crowds. When I lived up north, I use to go every year. Well, time for me to get started on my cooking. I am still tired from yesterday! At least after today I won't have to cook for a couple of days anyway! Everyone have a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving! Today is also my anniversary! We were supposed to go to my DB today, but yesterday my niece had to be taken in for emergency surgery and they found a cyst on her overy had bursted, and her apendix also had to be taken out. So, we have postponed it till tomorrow. So, the meal I was going to fix tomorrow I am making today! Are you totally confused yet? My turkey is in the oven as we speak, and I have been preparing stuff to take to DB the last few days, so it won't be too bad. Eileen - Love your NSV! Don't work too hard cleaning up today, you did enough work yesterday! Snow, just the sound of that makes me cold! I love Jim Reeves too! Beanie - Hey that big turkey just gives you lots of leftovers to snack on. I love turkey sandwiches! Ira - Maybe you could post some of those Indian recipes! They sure sound yummy! Zan - How is your day going? Cindy - How is you G'ma doing today? Patty - Hope your time with your Mom is great! I miss mine so much, especially at holidays. Pat - Great weight loss! And you were so worried about that little band It would be good to see what your doctor has to say about the bands. Keep us posted. I too am happy I found all you guys/gals. I feel like I know some of you that I haven't even met. I loved meeting the gals I got to meet. Thank each of you for being a part of my life. I hope we continue to keep in touch forever. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi y'all! Well got back from doing the billing, then started some of my preparations for tomorrow. I got all my onions diced, my corn bread made, my chicken is cooking along with some baked beans. I am getting ready to make some pies. The rest will be done tomorrow. I had a great time last night at our dinner. I will tell you more about it later. I will say I had tons of compliments on my weight loss from a few that hadn't seen me for a while. I loved every minute of it too! Eileen - you definately get a jump o things don't you? Sounds like you have been really busy! Cindy - Sorry about your G'ma, my thoughts are with you. Enjoy dinner out for a change, you deserve a break from cooking right now anyway. Patty - Sounds like you will have a great visit with your Mom. Zan - Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Enjoy your visit and have a safe one too. Beanie - CHRISTMAS??????? No way! I don't even want to think about that day yet! Hey girl, have a great Thanksgiving! We always go to a place (Mexican) called Crossroads in Tucson. It used to be very good, had to eat there a couple of times while we were there. If you get a chance check it out. It is real Mexican food, not the make believe stuff. (At least it was a few years ago) There Chimi's are great! Lisa - Congrats on your surgery date! That's right around the corner, so start getting ready! Pat - How's the cookies going? Now, remember you have to report which cookies were the best ones! I just might want the recipe! Ira - what is planned for your day? Well, gotta go check the beans!

Mexico Erosions VS. U.S. Erosions
I thought of the same thing after reading your post Michelle. I wonder on some of the other boards how many might be from US. This might be something to look into. It just makes me want to cry everytime I hear of someone who loses their band.

My band has slipped. :(
I am so sorry you are going through this. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that maybe the 7 days will help you out. Good Luck!
