  1. Perhaps he is just feeling insecure of loosing you after all the weight loss. It is important to just talk with him and ask if it the physical changes or is there something you all need to talk about.
  2. Wow you look amazing. Enjoy your wonderful acheivement!!
  3. I would love to see the pictures from your medial theigh surgery if you dont mind sharing those!
  4. There is a healing period and your body and breast will adjust to surgical lift you had. I agree it is extremly important to talk with your surgeon and ask questions too. I had one when I was younger, the funny thing is how sensitive my breast are after all these years.
  5. RJ you are such an inspiration of "Fighting for your wonderful life and making the sleeve work for ya!" So proud and encouraged by your wonderful acheivment!! Congratulations!!!
  6. Jacqui, you are truely an inspirational and beautiful lady inside and out!! Congratulations on your "New You". You remind me of a butterfly who is loving every minute of your flight! Hugs
  7. I think you handled it all full of grace. You didnt have to tell her you had wls but you did and if she cant handle the truth and support you then she is a friend from your past life.. Time to spread your wings and let the negative people go!!

  9. Hang in there everyone who is stalling, it is normal. Our bodies need to adjust to the new tummy and digesting the food we put in it. Also at the 3-4 wk phase it is known as the time that people can stall. Be encouraged it will pass, I know it is not easy. At 3-4 weeks I added food and exercise so my body really had to adjust. I had a long stall, no fun mean while hubby was getting encouraged from my surgery to lose weight too so every day he would announce he lost X lbs and he was lighter then me.. i almost killed him. I stalled for 7 wks... yep it is true now ya wanna talk about being depressed. So I started increasing my Water, really watching what i put in my mouth Protein.. watched the sugar intake too. Carbs are sneaky lil ~~~~~~~ fill in the blanks. I listened to the vets who said measure your self, take photos front, side and back and keep on moving. It worked.. My energy levels increased and then the weight came off. Best of all my new tummy and I are best of buds. It works, have faith. FYI I weigh less then hubby now and i get to announce the scale moving!! So be encouraged, dont give up.. be your own best Cheerleader!!

  11. So sad to see another great and funny guy die at such a young age because of complications and related issues from obesity. I lost my father by 54 because of obesity related issues too and it is so sad to see a talented life end before it is time.. We also lost Micky Rooney today.. I bet there is alot of joyful hugs and laughter in heaven today.
  12. @@madam, I love this new ligo "ShitOmeter" once again I have a smile on my face to your response. @ Indigo, I have going to copy this picture and put it on my FB..
  13. MrsRRN~ if it sounds like jealous and it acts like jealous... then it is jealousy the big ole green eye'd monster. Your response to her was nothing more then supportive. Your attitude for having a healthier and happier life is not dependant on her approval. Post on your FB page done be jealous just make the call : ) Remember some people are in your life for a reason, a season and a life time. Who you have in it is up too you! Just like food, you need to decide if he/she is supportive or not supportive and weed out the weeds in your life (kind like junk food). Have a happy and healty life!! You deserve it baby!!
  14. I would make a bucket list of the top place I want to go and see. With all the money you save from your WLS you can afford to go on trips and feed your body, soul and spirit with the beauty all around you. I would love to start in Hawaii go through all the Island then head over to Alaska and then make my way through all the National parks. California and the East Coast are my favorites too, yet then again the Southern states would be a wonder to explore as well. There is so much to see and planning your trip is half the fun, enjoy the trip with love ones is the other half.
  15. Sending healing prayers your way! Remember throwing up and being dehydrated is very dangerous, so please stay healthy!
  16. Oh my I just found out this posting was moved so all could see. @Feedyoureyes~ Thank you for your support, I sure appreicate it. @Elyquint~ Your words are like warm hugs, funny my cat has decided to sleep next to me and purr as loud as she can, i think she is trying to sing me to sleep. Wine, awe yes the sweet nectar of red RED wine. I had some but got back on track. And my old dog wont leave my side, lil pom plays so much luv from family too. @SassyPants1- Bless your heart, I am so sorry for your loss of your Dad sending warm hugs your way too! Parents leave finger prints on our hearts that never go away. My heart is healing and I do appreciate the support.
  17. Wow, I had no idea that they had that option as well! I had the RNY with a silastic ring which is an additional tool to help you feel full and not over eat and stretch your pouch. I don't have diabetes, but just letting you know you have the option of the ring to go with the RNY. I think the best thing for you to do continue to do your research and to talk with your Doctor and see what choice work for you. Each of us is different, our bodies of health history etc. Good luck to you!!
  18. I agree with the others visit your podiatrist. I have a very high arch and had plantar fischistist in both feet before surgery. I have my special arch support along with Asics shoes which are designed to fit the womans pelvic and hip motion and once I got these the pain in my feet stopped. Finding the right shoe for you is heavenly!! Good luck!
  19. In order to get my water in I like to switch it up. I love having drinks with blended ice and flavoring and to end the night a hot tea. I think what ever helps you stay hydrated is what you should do.
  20. Show stopper!! Congratulations on the biggest smile of success!! You look amazing!!
