  2. For as long as I've been overweight, I've always HATED this time of year (Spring) even more so than summer, even if in all actuality it's tied with Fall as my FAVORITE season. The reason why I dreaded the arrival of Spring every year is because I was always forced to realize how BIG I really was. Winter usually played tricks on my mind, and not to mention the inevitable pounds I always gained during that time. It kinda alway took me by surprise. I could no longer hide behind a heavy coat, a large scarf, a hat, and boots, lest I didn't mind looking all crazy in 60 degree weather. Yesterday I felt SO FREE walking my daughter to school with just my keys & phone in hand (and of course, the clothes I was wearing)(LoL). And although I have about forty pounds to GOAL, I'm already liberated from the shame that comes with obesity.
  3. My pity party is not weight related... Is career/education/employment related. Ggggrrrrr
  4. Ggggggrrrrr! Hubby deleted my recording, yet the DvR is still filled with all his WWE cr'ap!!
  5. glycerin suppositories are VERY helpful... Best thing about them is they work right away and your privates won't be irritated afterwards. LoL Try to hold the urge for at least 10 minutes, as you'll feel the need to GO almost instantly after inserting. Good luck pluggin'!!
  6. I just thought I should come on here and say that I've been working all day no stop. Energy out of the wazoo. LoL
  7. What do you exactly mean by "sick"? Can you describe what it is you're feeling?
  8. What kind of nuts?
  9. Considering that what I made this morning was a SOUP, I'm really shocked I went so long without being hungry. I felt hungry about an hour ago... I am now making more if that broccoli soup.
  10. Really?? It's in the Atkins book.
  11. It's when your diet consist of 90% good fats. Ideally, you should stay within 1,000 calories a day. It's a way to get our bodies into quick ketosis, which is a natural hunger suppressant AND weigh loss method. It's only recommended a few days at a time. I plan on fat-fasting for no more than 3 days.
  12. I'm fat fasting today (day 1) and its been SIX hours and nooooo hunger... I better get me some macadamia nuts, they're perfect for such a time as this.... But oh, so expensive. Do any of you fat-fast regularly?
  13. My first aggressive fill sent me to the ER. Like was suggested above, call your surgeon if you're vomiting constantly. Good luck, hunny!
  14. You're stomach is not "really" doing any work here, it's your intestines.
  15. Maybe... But KEEP IT OFF, never.
  16. I recently got invited to brunch with a friend and one of my sisters, none of which know about my surgery yet.... I almost felt forced to go (really it was guilty for not going) HOWEVER, I found the courage and said I would like out "outings" to be focused on something OTHER than food. So, they will go to brunch, and I will meet up with them afterwards for pedis & manis. Before my last fill I was fairly confident going out to restaurants, but after my las fill (3weeks ago) I rather just eat home... I'm gonna keep my current fill level for a few more weeks and then take a tinch out so I can be more comfortable eating out.
  17. Lili, I'm so glad you decided to tell him!!!
  18. B52, this doesn't make me think any lesser of you. You're still a RICK STAR in MY book!!
  19. Madam, you just resurrected it. ThankS!
  20. This was BEAUTIFUL.... You should have written "DROPS MIC" at the end of that cuz reading that was like a "moment"
  21. Gaspar Rosario, one of the NPs at the practice, can actually fill a person with his eyes CLOSED. That's how good he is.
  22. My clavicles are peeking through; barely peeking, but peeking through nevertheless.
