  7. I am 3 weeks post band op. I am in need of a hip replacement but need to lose weight for I get it. That is why I decided to get the lap band. However I am in so much pain daily because I can not take my much needed Aleve which did mask my pain. Tylenol does not provide any relief. Does anyone know med that is allowed other than Tylenol for pain relief???
  8. I'm thankfully not throwing up but in really bad shape on the other end. Need to keep rushing to the bathroom. I'm loosing so much liquid. It's def a stomach bug. Guess it'll be more water jello broth for replenishment. My ??? Is it's ok on my band to be going to the bathroom this much? Is my stomach "working" too hard during this healing time?
  9. I'm day 12 post band op. I've had a really rough night w loose stools all night. Kept waking up to use the bathroom. My son had a stomach bug earlier in the week. I think that's what it is but is it ok on my post op band healing stomach. My stomach won't stop making noises ( like a gurgeling). Should I eat or drink something to help settle it?

  12. Thank you ladies. I'm not going to worry. It's all still new. I had lap band so just eating anything is an accomplishment.
  13. So I decided to log my food on MLP and it totaled 395 calories today. I mean I wasn't hungry. Feel fine but is this ok? I always heard of "starvation mode". As long as this is ok I'm fine but I don't want to be causing more harm than good. It's hard because the things we 're allowed to eat are so few calories. sugar free Jello, broth, yogart, etc. it doesn't add up to very much. Help!!!

  16. Thank you enjoythetime. You're response was very helpful and greatly appreciated. To see how the foods all fit in within a day. Getting a list from my nutritionist wasn't enough for me. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom ????

  18. Ok so I'm finally able to move away from the staples of my life; the beloved jello and broth. Any suggestions how to start, what to eat morn, noon night? I'm just trying to wrap my head around what a day looks like.
