I just got great news!!!!! Approved and my surgery date is july 3rd. Super excited!!! Heres my before photo after photos in late july

My now ex husband cheating on me. She was thinner and in great shape. I was too at the time I met him but the problems between he and I made me depressed and I gained a ton of weight. Along with the weight came Acne which I never had before and my knees started to hurt. I realized I needed to get back to being the attractive me for me. I left him, had the surgery and now I am working out like I did before I met him. I am now dating a pro athlete who constantly tells me how amazing my body is and how beautiful I am. I am no longer insecure and I am glad I left my ex husband. I have a new life. P.S. I was only 183 at my biggest but that was enough for me.

I am officially 6 months post op tomorrow and i am down 71 pounds.
Starting weight: 256
Current weight: 185
Goal weight: 140-150 (depending on how i look at 150)
I said i wanted to get into a bikini by 6 months.. and honey I did. Didn't say I would wear it... just wanted to get into it! At a terrible stall however. I've not recorded a lost in an entire month. I'm working out every single day (even see my abs starting to form) and the scale just won't move. At first I thought it was Water weight. Now I just have no clue! Anyone have any suggestions on how to jumpstart this weight loss again?!?!? If not, I'm going to have to try the pouch test.

I know all our weightloss is all different but its just extra motivation to see how we all are doing. My date was January 3 i am 52 pounds since surgery no pre op diet have not went shopping so i don't no new clothing size oh and i am 5feet 7 :0)

I wonder if your "thin" friend would like a compliment like "wow you have such a hot body for such an ugly face" hey he still gave her a compliment. Ridiculous and what a jerk! You definitely did the right thing.

He could've just said your "hawt" and left it at that. Being hot takes everything that one sees and knows about that person to come to that conclusion. There was no need for another adjective.......he's an idiot!

Goodness. How completely rude and disrespectful. If he is this insensitive upon your first meeting, I imagine he would be completely insensitive and self-centered in all other aspects as well. Definitely one to walk away from.

I think your friend has some serious issues with self esteem loneliness and perhaps jealousy that it was you he "talked".
As for him? I wouldn't give him a second thought he is nothing to you in your life. Not even worth being upset with.

So, I'm having lunch with a friend and as we are leaving a nice looking guy come over and and says to me "wow your hawt for a fat girl!!!and asked me for my number. I told him that he so disrespectful and needs to take his no good no class raggedy ass out of my face. My skinny friend thinks I was wrong because he was really cute and gave me a compliment and I'm being over sensitive. Am I ??? Isn't that like saying youd be pretty if you weren't fat .

I love that we are all strong people and agree that you did the right thing. I would have done the same thing but only added a comment that he had forgot to look in the mirror. He was ugly from the outside in. More power to you beautiful people.

My response would probably have been something along the lines of, "Wow, thanks--and you're really cute for a total jackass." I'm so glad you set him straight, and your friend needs a thwap on the forehead, too.

Wow! What a jackass! You are beautiful, don't forget it. I had a friends brother, who was really cute, tell me in high school that if I lost weight, he would date me and said I had lots of potential. After crying for hours after he said that, I realized he was the one missing out, and decided I wasn't going to let it upset me anymore. I still to this day, have not told my friend whose brother it was.

Thank you everyone. I'm happily married for 25 yrs but can believe there are young men out there today who think this is okay and dumbass women/girl like my friend who except it!!!! ( need to slap some sense into her )
