  4. They can give you something to relax you down there for the insertion. ..I found out about this after the insertion
  5. My dr said a good surgeon can get around any liver...full of himself much? We don't have a preop diet, we just can't gain weight before surgery
  6. I'm not sure the nutritional value but I love the cool lime refresher at starbucks..its iced and made with coffee leaves instead of beans. There is a berry hibiscus one but it tastes too flowery for my tastes
  7. I have mirena and love it..unlike depo which I had before, the hormones are centralized so it shouldnt have many side effects.
  8. I dont and never have smoked but my dr says you have to quit for 3 months before he does the surgery. ..the only one he will do on a smoker is lapband.
  9. I posted a topic calling for may pre op pics so we could follow along..no one responded so now I look pathetic with my pics up there...how do you delete a post you made?
  10. I'm having surgery this thursday and planning on going back to work the following Wednesday...my boss will give me more time if I need it but I think it really depends on the person, ive heard about people who get surgery on friday and go back the following monday (granted someone else drives) and others who take multiple weeks off
  11. My fiance says they cover everything else with blankets...he said they dont want any distractions...I guess that was a compliment saying my body would be a distraction haha
  12. Like should I bring big underwear and a sports bra?
  13. http://m.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12925487&gsidynamic=GooglePLA-_-MobileWATERSPORTS-_-MobileWATERSPORTS-_-SKU-12819998&camp=CSE:GooglePLA:12925487:12819998:WATERSPORTSMobile-
  14. What about a wetsuit...my friend wears one that covers her arms but they have them that covers your legs as well (whole legs like pants or half legs like shorts) she wears it because she is a skin cancer survivor but it shouldn't matter
  15. My mom lives in Derby I grew up there since middle school
  16. My insurance covers a tummy tuck and breast lift completely if you document a rash and what not..only issue is I'm pre children so I wouldn't want one before that. I'm also pre op so who knows if ill need one
  17. Ive noticed the quite opposite. I do not to judge others on their appearance but I have friends who are also overweight and the things they say about thin people are really mean..."skinny bit**" (even though they do not know this person), or call someone anorexic just because they are thin or "real women have curves" sometimes adding "only a dog wants bones"...real women do not judge other women or call men dogs.
  18. Does anyone with tattoos notice a change post surgery? Mine is on my upper back so I'm not sure if it will change. .ex. when my aunt got pregnant her tattoo on her lower belly/hip stretched out, does this happen with weight loss?
  19. Thanks...my veins on my hands are easy to find so I ask them to go there when possible but I hate being told I'm dehydrated lol.
