  3. Heading home 24 hours after going into recovery room. Had to drink an ounce of water per hour since noon. Very easy recovery so far.
  4. This is guacamole right?
  5. My tummy area is feeling numb...nurse on call said this is normal
  6. U can go to a bank or credit union for a loan or most hospitals do financing right there for u... I'm sure you can say you can afford like $50-$100/per month and they can work with you on the term of the loan
  7. Had my surgery at 1 pm est so 12 hours ago... havent pressed the button for morphine since about 5pm . The worst pain today was them taking the catheter out. My stomach area feels like I did a bunch of pushups..just wondering if it is gonna be a lot worse tomorrow (I realize its tomorrow now but I mean when the sun comes up)? Tomorrow I begin drinking water instead of IVs
  8. Mirena has one of the lowest side effect rates of all birth controls
  9. In recovery room and the foley is only thing causing pain...surgery was at 1:30 est
  10. We are sleeve sisters! Where r u from?
  11. Thanks everyone! You all really are great!!
  12. Surgery is tomorrow at 1 and the nerves are finally hitting me..I just threw up and I can't stop crying because I'm scared. I know I am doing the right thing I am just scared of the risk of complication. I know that sounds silly but it does happen...I just need words of encouragement.
  13. Thanks I hope they do...
  14. I didn't have any progress yet, my surgery is tomorrow...I posted before pics and was gonna post like once per month but I dont wanna seem full of myself and be the only one posting. ..which I'm not.
  15. I have two family members who have quit through hypnosis
  16. My fiance eats junk and stays skinny....he has always been thin though. I'm not upset about this though, I dont see it as a competition, I want us both the be able to grow old together. If something like that ticked me off then id be upset every time I saw anyone eat because a lot of people eat more than me, and I am still pre op
  17. They are made at ShopRite too!
  18. I have acrylic French manicure and dr said its ok for surgery and during my pre op visit, the oxygen levels read fine
  19. I was told the shape of a banana but not the size.
  20. My dr wouldnt even allow me to get the surgery unless my bmi was at least 40 or 35 with pre existing condition. So for 180lbs that would be 4'8" and 5'0" tall respectfully. I thought this was true for all surgeons, I dont really understand. I understand the band revision to sleeve but not all others. I had to gain 3 lbs at 265 just to be eligible for surgery at my height because I do not have a pre existing condition. Good luck with weight loss everyone!
