  1. And I'm three years out and would do it all over again as well. I'm a very happy bandster.
  2. That is something I do as well. No talking while eating.
  3. I too had surgery in December 2010 with no problems. Why are you being rebanded if I may ask?
  4. Don't feel bad dear, in the beginning of this journey I too struggled with will power. We are so used to eating whatever we want, how much we want, when we want, that trying to teach yourself something different is hard, challenging, and takes a lot of patience and discipline. You have to just tell yourself every second that you're not hungry and when you are you will eat healthy. It is a constant struggle and will take time to getting used to. Good luck
  5. I agree with aj, however, I wouldn't eat anymore solid foods until the doctor okays you to do so.
  6. No, can't say that I do.
  7. After I reached goal I still logged my food intake for a couple months but then I continued to lose both weight and inches so I stopped. I been stopped weighing my food because I can just look at food and can tell how much is too much or not enough. Good luck with reaching and maintaining your goal.
  8. I get sleepy. If I eat a little more than I should, I get pain in the upper part of my back/shoulder.
  9. Too funny. My avatar picture is one of my selfies. Lol
  10. From what I've read and what my physician has said, after some time, the fluid does tend to seep out. Hopefully that is the case and all you will need is a simple fill. Hope it is not a slip. Keep us posted.
  11. Sorry for the lost of your father and separation from your husband; however, congratulations on getting back on track and losing weight inspite of the challenges. Continued success.
  12. Awesome!!!! So proud of you. You are truly a beautiful woman. Congratulations on a great story. Thanks for sharing.
  13. I have days like that. I have to make myself eat.
  14. I too have noticed this as well. I'm just trying to figure out how one can eat so much regardless as to the amount of restriction you have. It's all about mindset. You just have to make yourself stay disciplined. It's not easy but you can get through any stressful situation without overeating. I have noticed that when I'm stressed, I can't eat. Thanks to my band. I can only do liquids. So I can't even imagine eating too much.
  15. Yeah, I remember going through that as well. It does take your body a few months to get back the restriction you had before the unfill but in the end, it will be worth it. You don't want your band to slip from all the pbing you have done. Your stoma needs a rest. It will take time but you will get there. Continued success.
  16. Well a little something is better than nothing. Just be patient, keep following your doctor's orders and you will lose. This journey doesn't happen overnight. Good luck.
  17. Way to go. Congratulations on your new journey.
  18. Wow! Sounds like you're well on your way. Welcome and congratulations on being banded.
  19. Oh, ok. I wasn't aware of that. Thanks
