1. Way to go!!! Don't stop.
2. Congratulations for the small things
3. Thanks ladies
4. This isn't the first time I've participated in this race. However, it is the first time that I've done it since being banded. The difference is I wasn't dying from the long race. I didn't even drink as much Water as I did in the past. I even jogged more than walked as I have in previous years. It felt really good. Less weight makes a big difference in what you can do. Blessings everyone.
5. I think a cup is too much. You should have at least a half cup of food. Yes this will always happen when you overeat. The pain subsides when your food is digested. Best of wishes
6. Congrats on being banded!!!! I was hungry every day after surgery and every other time I was on liquids. I took a lot of headache medicine until my body got used to the liquid diet.
7. Amazing. Congratulations!!!
8. Exciting and awesome!!! Way to go. Keep up the great work.
9. Yes, that would be pasta. I love pasta but since I've been banded, pasta don't love me. Every now and again I can actually eat a little Mac and cheese if it's really cheesy and spaghetti sometimes. Other than that, no pasta for me.
10. No, not really. Can eat pretty much anything.
11. Congratulations!!! Keep on healing.
12. Losing 84 pounds is certainly not being a failure. Bravo!!!! ALL OF US hit a plateau throughout the journey so that the body adjusts to the changes. It's a normal part of the process. Don't worry you're fine.
13. Congratulations. Rest well
14. These are the questions that you should have asked your doctor so that you would be absolutely clear on your journey. Hang in there. It gets better with time.
15. Great decision. You don't want to throw up. That's not normal. Be patient you will get there.
16. My greatest challenge was and sometimes still is is taking small bites and remembering to chew, chew, chew. Not so much now that I'm three yrs out but definitely in the beginning of the journey. It can be quite challenging. Good luck.
17. Wonderful testimonial. Thanks for sharing.
18. Way to go!!!!! Awesome news.
19. Yes ma'am in a heart beat!!!! No problems or complications here.
20. Unfortunately eating was the last thing on my mind at the time I had my surgery. I had a hiatial hernia that progressively became worse which allowed me to bump my surgery up. So no, I didn't have a last big meal.
