Banded Feb 7th!

I just got banded February 7th, and I'm so excited to start this journey! I have been kind of gassy, so it's making me miserable, but I'm sure after a week I'll be good as new! Can't wait for that!

Congrats! I am just starting the whole process so I'll be there with you soon. This is such a great forum! Can't wait to hear about your journey!

Congrats marissacb09, you are on the way to you new life!Best wishes, Karen..aka.kll724

I had my surgery 3 days ago - my 2nd day was the worst with so much hunger and wind pain! Today I still have the wind but I feel generally better. Very pleased with how my incisions are healing! Just weird that I can see the port!

Well, Well, Well, God Looks Out!!!!! I had my new LapBand put in yesterday 2/11/14 & all went well. I have NO gas or shoulder pain whatsoever. Just sore around incision sites. So on the real notes the difference between being banded 12/22/10 & 2/09/14 is that 2nd time around I knew what to expect. Also, I have less soreness this time, but never any gas or shoulder pain either times, in fact I've spoken to several patients in the waiting room & at seminars throughout the 3yr span & not one of them complained of Gas or shoulder pain. One of the Nurses stated that it's most likely because the Surgeons in this group elevate the patients during surgery so the gases don't get trapped. Well to all my Banded Brothers & Sisters Good luck on your lifetime journeys & stay focused.

Congratulations!!! Keep on healing.

I was banded on the 7th as well. And just have gas pain. Today I start mushy foods. Yaaaayyyy. Down 28 lbs since liquid diet! Congrats on your journey too!!
