  1. Yes, this is the new normal for a while. Welcome to banderland.
  2. Sounds good. Glad you're feeling better. Continued success
  3. My suggestion is to call your doctor's office on Monday. It sounds like you're too tight. Suggest that they take out 1cc and I bet you'll feel better. Just stay on liquids the remainder of the weekend. Good luck
  4. Wow!!!! I totally understand. I will definitely talk to my doctors about this.
  5. It's quite possible. My doctor and team told me no nsaids as well and I suffer with osteoarthritis and I've been banded over three years and haven't been on my meds ever since. I just use my Patches and they prescribed a cream for me to use, plus my braces.
  6. Welcome and congratulations!!!! Best wishes
  7. Oh my. I'm glad you're no longer in pain. I agree, I'm glad we have a tool that is adjustable in situations in which we may need to have it filled or unfilled. Happy healing.
  8. Wow!!!! Amazing. Congratulations
  9. Yes, you're still healing not even a whole month yet. Be patient and it will go down. Congrats on being banded.
  10. It is weird. Right after my fills I felt as though nothing happened I could still eat if I wanted to but didn't. Sure enough after a few days or so, I would eat as before and couldn't because my food got stuck. That's when you know it's working. Keep following your doctor's orders and all will be well. Congrats on what you've accomplished so far.
  11. I love your outlook on it. Congratulations!!!
  12. Awesome!!!! You are lucky, no pain??? Keep up the great work.
  13. Don't be sorry. Totally understand. You have to do what's best for you. You have to live in your body, not anyone else. Good luck to you.
  14. Yes it does make a difference. I've had fills of just. .1cc a couple times and that's all I needed. Weird but it's all good.
  15. Wow!!! That's a lot. Awesome!!! Keep up the great work.
  16. Congratulations on you and your doctor's decision. Best wishes to you.
  17. I'm glad to hear that. I had a feeling she put too much. Thanks for responding and continued success.
  18. I'm a 42 yr old lapband patient. I have lost a total of 90 lbs and almost 40 inches all over in two and a half to three yrs post op. I do have some loose skin but will not have reconstructive surgery to get rid of it and no, I will not be in a bikini but I do wear a two piece. Can't show my scars and port.
  19. It's four days later, how are you feeling?
  20. Nice, you look great in it. I'm wearing a coat I have had at least 16 yrs now. It's actually a little big but I don't care. It's practically like new. I totally understand how you feel. congratulations!
