  1. Muscle is dense,it takes up less room then fat a pound of muscle takes up less then half the space as a pound of fat maybe you have more lean muscle on your body
  2. That's great! , I'm in Canada so I am a self pay and just have to do an on line class
  3. All my pre op blood work is done exam complete , paid in full, now I wait its going to be a looooong six week so excited and terrified of the unknown
  4. It happens, just start fresh , have you tried dividing the shakes through the day ? like a half pack 6 times a day instead of three?

  7. My husband as well he now does test shots he feels better he is able to take weight off and everything else is up and running

  9. Who knows why siblings can be so mean, maybe she is actually jealous of YOU, 63 pounds is no small task rejoice in what you have done for you!. I know its hard when people are petty but enjoy what you have done don't let her get under your skin , congrats on the loss!
  10. Maybe ask for a bread plate to portion out your food, get the rest to go?
  11. The syrups are torani I ordered mine from coffee Canada I think it was called , you can also add extracts like coconut mmmm
  12. I will have the same pre op diet as Dr.Cobourn is my surgeon as well, good luck! I have bought several sugar free syrups as well to change up the taste, have you tried them like a popsicle ?
  13. I told people on a need to know only, which is about five people , my husband is super supportive but the rest of my family not so much, tell who you think will offer you the support you need
  14. I will be on the slim time shakes as well and if its the same as me ( surgery in Mississauga) Its shakes and low glycemic veggies only , Hang in there your half way!
  15. The gym doesn't have to be awful , try a class , Zumba, spin , Pilates you never know what you enjoy until you try it out
  16. So am I it takes about two weeks to detox from them then I am fine

  21. You should never jog completely flat on a treadmill say my trainer even a small incline helps you work harder , find for me personally I do better walking on an incline then running period, I usually do hill intervals and for me I lose weight and tone better

  24. I had gallbladder removed about 14 years ago ,I have found fatty foods are not my friend
