I asked if they could have something (valium, prozac) waiting for me at registration. The gal thought I was kidding.. Wait till Friday when she walks me there she will see How I get.. Oh yeah I am up 10lbs Oh yeah almost started crying my eyes out. I asked the gal who was looking at the screen how my band looked. She tells me well I cannot really say but if you really want to know it looks a little tilted.. WTF tilted, Tilted how up, down -- What exactly do you mean by tilted... Then she says' you better wait till the radioligist reads it.. Ok then why comment???????????? No sooner was I in the parking gargage I was on the phone to the Band office. They say we just got the results and your band is fine.. Thats what I get for asking:)

Ok everyone after seeing my band doc and going over the situation and many questions that I had they did a GI to rule out a slip from the last time they did one back in OCT. At the same time they were calling registration to make the arrangements for the GI someone else was talking Direct to the Gastro Doctor. There is a 4 week wait just to get a consult appt for him but he was kind enough to let me come in this friday for a consultation then they will walk me down to do the scope. Hopefully I am not eroded but hopefully they can tell me why the reflux and the new pain. Anyway please pray for me that I do not have another anxiety attack or what ever it is in the pre op. That alone freaks me out. Reason they wanted to do the upper GI - They had another Patient who complained of reflux and vomiting. Even though they had done a Prior GI months before she had a slip. Reason for the Scope. Rule out Ulcer or Erosion (we all know it is possible with no symptoms) and Gastritis.

I have heard if you get stuck walk around like a chicken flapping your wings. I have used this in the past. When I begin to slime and this has only happend a few times I just bend over a let it all come up..

I think he will let you by with those 2lbs but maybe by then you will have lost them.. I too go see them on Tuesday.. Good Luck

I am so sorry - Thank God you are back and being so strong and postive. I go in Tuesday to see my Doc and am taking all the infor00 I have gathered over the last 3 weeks. I want my Endo this time around - no more anti meds for reflux.

OK I just visited another board that got me thinking. If you are visiting LBT or on your way to researching the band please please do not assume that these ladies are getting Erosion from not following the rules. Read their history or better yet PM them.. Ask questions Know one knows for sure why there is Erosion and more so lately and why all in a row. If I was a newbie I would be asking my Doc when an Endo is gonna happen after placing the band? Is it part of the After care??? The bottom line is this is a foreign object in your body and well if your body does not like it, it is gonna reject it anyway it can. Just my two cents

Yep here in Colo it is cold today are high is going to be 32. My husband had to put more insulallation in our new bedroom the (garage) I told him that when they were making it.. Neve listens, anyway it was toasty warm in there last night condsidering the heat was turned up to 70

Hope you are doing better Doll. BP - Why did you delete your post??? I have been thinking about it. It sounded like my husband asking that question. My Husband is always looking for attention and anytime he gets near me I pull away. It is not that I do not want to get romantic with him I day dream sometimes about all the things we could do but when it comes time I always say I am not in the mood or I am tired (you know the excuses) And here is the reason - I do not feel attractive in my body and I do not want him touching this lump or that roll. How sad Huh Just maybe that is what she is feeling and with a little help from you she could get past it.. Now I for one feel if my Dh is going to touch me start by holding my hand and not going for other parts of my body too fast. Make believe it is the first date. Well anyway too find a guy that is sincere is too good to be true and there were alot of good post from you men.

Monday Nights - Vegas and if I stay up late Meduim. Tuesday If I have time Law and Order SVU or stay up that late. Weds - 00 Thursday - CSI and again if I still up that late Whatever comes out next. Friday - Ghost Whispers and then the Close to home. Sat and Sunday is when ever I fine time.. Kids keep me pretty busy

I agree Vines. When I decided to do this I only had one Dr in mind and since others here at worked went with him as well I could not have been more comfortable. I also checked his stats and made sure he was qualified. And since my Ins was picking up some of the tab I just figured like everything else I would make payments.

Have Fun you are off to a great Start. We got Snow here and if your not use to it then yes it is pretty cold -13 .. But Thanks to Celseste dba Road Queen with the scarf I am toasty warm and styling.. Be careful on the slick roads they are very scary

I thought it was customary to send the video off to you band doc?? In my case they did.. But then again who could see the protusion if it is on the inside except an Endo?? To tell they truth I wish there was an easier way than the Endo because of the panic attacks I have just going to the hosp. How bad is that?? But I know I need one done. See what happens on Tuesday.. Paula we are also very close in Wt loss too..
