Congrats on your loss! You look great!
  7. You look fantastic!
  8. I am 5'4" 193 lbs and I wear a size 14 pants (they are feeling loose now) and a large top. I started out at 234 lbs, size 22 pants and 2XL tops.
  9. A little inspiration for the ladies of LBT. Did you overcome your eating issues? I'm still working on mine. http://www.huffingto...l#slide=2708111
  10. Do you have access to a Flexible Spending Account at work?

    Love it!
  12. Same here. Went to the doctor this morning and I did not get a fill. I'm having trouble getting in all my calories and adding saline won't help that problem. Still having a hard time with the concept of NEEDING more calories to lose weight. I'm still on target for 1 pound per week though.
  13. I don't have a cookbook per se, but I get ideas online at www.hungrygirl.com and www.skinnytaste.com quite a bit.
  14. 7 months post-op and I sometimes have a problem with chicken, eggs, sushi and shrimp. Not always though, it literally changes day to day.
  15. Unfortunately, every doctor has different pre-op requirements. I would check with your doctor's office just to be sure what they recommend. Best wishes to you!!
  16. Nothing. You are doing great! Keep tracking your calories, exercise and drink plenty of water. Your body is still healing at this point so don't worry about the scale too much right now. You got this.
  17. My daughter was diagnosed with cancer in 2004 and I decided to quit my job to stay home and care for her. During that time I became very depressed and began using food to help ease the pain. After 4 years of this behavior, I couldn't even recognize myself in photos, developed pre-diabetes and was taking multiple medications for blood pressure. Last year I finally decided to take my life back and I couldn't be happier. My daughter's cancer is in remission and she is now a 2nd grade teacher and I'm healthier than I have been in years. I feel very blessed.
  18. LOL I was wondering that too especially with the full body scanners, but I've been on 6 flights since the end of June with no problems at all. I do get pretty tight when flying so be prepared for that. Have fun!
  19. Special K Cracker Chips 27 pieces for 150 calories!
  20. I was told I might actually gain weight before my first fill so you are doing great! Chin up- you got this!
  21. Typically if it's specifically excluded the insurance company won't budge. But who knows...maybe you'll get lucky. I guess it woudn't hurt to try, but I would be surprised if they change their exclusion policy. I would have a back-up plan in place if you're seriously considering WLS. Good luck!!
