Hi Kay, As far as Diet coke I still don't drink carbonation drinks. I sipped it once and it gave me an amount of Gas that I won't forget. But I've read people here that can tolerate carbonation. Being real about Alcohol. Talk to your doctor. I do have an occasional drink of alcohol but I can't tolerate sugary drinks of any I tried it my self at the same time. That said enjoy your Holiday.

Welcome! Awesome. Yes awesome. You are doing great in this Journey. I work 3rd shift too. And had a recent bout of insomnia as well. So I'm here with you. Sis if you don't mind me saying. I started at 267, I couldn't walk to the mailbox in front of my house without being short of breath. I watched as my then 5 year old son cry and ask to go to the park with my skinny next door neighbor. He didn't even ask me! My heart sank. But on the outside, I didn't show emotion because someone had to take him. Lol Now 10 months later, I'm 174lbs. Yay I out Ran my now 6 year old to the bus stop for school. Woohoo My Blood Pressure went from 170/102 to 102/70 My love affair with my Hubby is even better Most important I'm one with myself. The skinny girL within coming out. . Wishing you the best. Yes, I've seen threads in the powder room with some of these issues. Mine completely stopped but I'm 49 and that's ok. But search the powder room others had the same issue.

I love that too. I'm even slower but I'm loosing still at 10 months. Which I calculate that I will get to my own goal I was 276 now 173 goal 150lbs. It may take me longer which was the same point that's for posting that. Love it

Hi almost similarWhile i notice that il loose inches first before pounds. Sometimes nothing for a week or 2. Then a few pounds lost. But not 10 pounds. But I (go to the bathroom a lot ) then I know the scale is going to be moving.

Hi all, So my SW 267 CW 173. My Surgeon's goal 170lbs but my goal is 150. But Yes, I have lost after the 6 months. It has been slow but surely. I have confidence that I'll get to goal if I work hard. I've been planning to try the 5:2 Diet as well. I Ike the analogy by proudgrammy it's " Like a marriage" I say go back to basis and do even more to keep it going. Lol
