1. Im lookin at a full quarter sleeve koi fish. On the top of his head he will have a juggernaut symbol. The Koi is for luck, fortune, and perseverance Juggernaut symbol- the unstoppable force. no matter how many times i get knocked down i keep going
2. Im right there with u man. Been big all my life. Im ready for the change. Like u i like softba and hope to play softball one day. Maybe see if some1 would go with u to a siminar. Or even tell one person at a time so u can have some1 in your corner give u some relief u know. Prepare for the questions they will ask. I found the more i was informed the more at ease they seem to be. I have gotten alot of "u did alot of research huh"
3. Good to hear. Glad its going well
4. Maybe get your toes wet by bringing up the subject see how they react. If they ask and your not comfortable telling them tell them u were looking into it and doing research. Just remember u are doing this for u and dont need negitivity. Just my opinion
5. Whats the one in march, where is it. Congrats zombie run would be awesome. i cant wait to do one, i have some fam that does a couple and im sure they would join me in my first one.
6. Ok so I'm wondering if once u lost the weight did your tattoo change? I have 4. 2 small 1 med ish and ome big one one my calf. I gues om wondering if it ended up to look like a shinky dink lol. I plan on getting more but they are all big tattoos(shoulders, back, 1/4 sleeves)
7. Im planning on it too. Anything over 7.5%(of your income) is claimable including perscriptions from my understanding.
8. I go in the 7th - preop diet starts the 24th. Of course some of the fam is giving me a hard time cause thankgiving is coming up i will be on liquids lol they also are the first to say it will be well worth it too
9. I kinda had the same question. I like to cook and cook alot for the family. We bbq or cook out alot. My fam is not all heavy. But i enjoy having the fam over and throw something on the grill and bs all day and watch a game.
10. I have this its not bad to me atleast. Just wondering if any1 else has used it for preop diet. I start mine next week. Getting nervous a little. 20g protein per serving.
11. I have been doing some of the same. I think i just want to be prepared and well aware of the could happens. I have been looking at the stories post op and how far they have come. It helps to focus on the positive outcomes to come.
12. Im wondering if u can do the isopure drinks instead. Might call your nutritionist and see if there are other options.
13. Here is an example GNC or i think walmart even has them. I start mine the 7th and im trying to figure out the preop diet too
14. Congrats on the loss. I cant wait. for me its pure motivation and i have a list that grows. Looking forward to doing some mma, riding a horse, going to a football/baseball game (fitting in the small seats), getting a motorcycle(big goal), hunting (walking long distance without getting tired easy), running( mud run/ jail break run with fam), back to playing paintball, scuba dive the list goes on and on. Those are thing i enjoyed or want to try. I have always been the big guy and flaked out do to my size. My defense was to make a joke about the situation.
15. I may sound dumb for asking but cand u add the unflavored protein powder to it and up the protein?
16. Had my consult today at the office off forrest. All the people in the office were really nice. Went ahead and set the date for Nov 7th. How did yours go.
17. Yup had my appointment w/ the doc and set up my appointment for Nov 7th. Im ready for it. Start my liquid diet the 24th.
18. All i can think of is bubba from forrest gump lol
19. My decision was for the sleeve but after looking at the cost i was leaning towards the band. What really changed my mind was the complications- 2 of my friends have the band one had to have it fixed tge other needs to have it fixed. I wasnt interested really in having control of the fills either plus i was concerned about the port(could i do mma with a port). I have a friend of the fam(like an aunt) who had the sleeve done and another friend that had it done they both recommended it. The reasearch from both sites and in general helped alot in knowing what could be ahead.
20. My consult is this fri. A friend of mine had his sleeve done and they highly recomended him. I went to the seminar they provide a few months ago and they were really nice and very informative. There staff was really nice when i called and talked to them to set the consult up. Im hoping i dont have to do any test with me being self pay. Deff interested to hear how the consult goes?
