Tax Deducation!

Has anyone ever claims this surgery on there taxes( self-pay). I posted this in another forum but think that it should been posted here :)

    My husband and I itemize deductions, so yes, we are planning on claiming the cost of surgery as a medical expense. If I remember correctly, anything over $3000 is deductible :)

    Im planning on it too. Anything over 7.5%(of your income) is claimable including perscriptions from my understanding.
