Here goes my journey........... Me and my husband drove form Las Vegas to San Diego where we were picked up by Ricardo( alighterme me new driver). We had to wait an extra hour at the airport cause it took him a little longer then expected to get across the border( wasn't his faught tho). Ricardo is very nice and he drove us straight to the Marriott hotel and got us checked in. The Marriott is really nice and clean. After getting settled in we went to the restaurant to eat. I didn't like the broth but my husband loved his meal, he has steak:) The next day Abraham pick us up at 8:00 sharp to take us to the hospital . Once there I was checked into my room to relax before the testing began. I was then visited by Dr Lopez and Eduardo . Dr Lopez sat with me and explain the whole procedure. He advise that I will be given a cd of my surgery and All my lap paperwork to take back to the states. . Eduardo asked if I had any concern and he answered all my question also ( p.s. he is fine ..... Lol). Then i meet Dr Ortiz very friendly man, who advise me that he will be helping with my surgery. Finally had my rest ran ( EKG and blood test ) went into surgery around 12:30 . All I remember was the lady giving me a shot saying it will make me dizzy and next thing you know I wake up and I'm all done. When I woke up all the way I was in PAiN. I walked a little and spent most of the day sleeping . They gave me pain meds to help he sleep through the night . The next day I felt so much better !!!!!!! But I was starving. I had to drink the blue stuff( It was so nasty) then I drank this white stuff and did the X-ray to make sure no leaks . Then finally I was giving apple juice. The apple juice felt like heaven... Lol I'm now just relaxing in my room watching tv and drinking juice. Tomorrow going to the Marriott and I getting this IV taken out. To be continue ..... If any specific question please asked......

Hey everyone I haven't been on here in forever ! !! Just a quick update ....... I'm down 72 pounds and life has been great! I'm almost to ONEDERLAND!!!!!!!!! Words cant express the joy that I feel, best decision I ever made! Hope u all are loving life just as I am!!!!! I thanks god everyday for allowing me this opportunity !!!!!

Actually I haven't work out one day yet !! I know that bad but I plan on starting this week. But I'm still down 42 pounds only 58 more till my first goal .

Dehydration it no joke !!!! To all my pre- op sleeve it is so important to get fluids in. It's really hard in the beginning but try hard . Getting me a couple of IV bags and I get to go home

Is this okay for the liquid diet if I take the chicken chunks out????

Believe me your not gonna wanna cheat ! I'm 9 days out and I'm sticking to everything . Plus your stomach will let u know when u have messed up ... Lol. The only problem I'm having in getting in enough water

I have been home on medicine for about 5 days and now have a yeast infection ? Has this medicine cause anyone else to experience this???

Not sure ! I put my phone on airplane mode cause the international calling prices are ridiculous.

So I finally made it home and I felling great ! Gonna just take things one day at a time and look forward to this new beginning . About to eat me some Jello and call it a night! Thanks to all my sleeve buddies that wished me well wishes. Oh yeah .... Just a head up when they take the drain out it feels so weird... Lol Also when i went through the border I didn't have a passport I just used my ID and birth certificate
