i have not been heavy my whole life,but am at my heaviest now. i have tried every diet known to man and nothing has worked. i have read about the lap band but never really thought about it. then someone from work introduced me to his doctor,who happened to have had the surgery himself,his wife and sister also had it done....he carries around his before pics and when he showed me,i almost fell over!!

he ended up becoming my primary care doctor and the one who signed off on my 6 months of mandated doctor visits.

since then,i have met and talked to so many people who had it done and everyone of them said it has changed their life...i am so ready for a life change!!!

my surgery is scheduled for oct5 and i cannot be more eager and excited!!
