  1. My dr prescribed me Prevacid dissolvable tablets , I'm bad and stopped taking then cause they made me feel nauseous. Ill have to try taking them again to see if that helps. Who would have though acid reflux would cause hunger. Thank you for your suggestion.
  2. I am 13 days post off and still on a clear liquid diet with 3 protein shakes a day. I am currently taking in 4 protein shakes and still finding myself so hungry. Is anyone else running into this so early on and if so what are you doing to curb the hunger?
  3. I was allowed to drive as long as I wasn't on pain meds, didn't matter the time since surgery.
  4. I've heard if you do like beer to do a draft beer, helps cut down on the carbonation. Enjoy your drink.
  5. I'm 10 day post op and the explosions will continue to come, if your going at all. The other night I swear I literally cleared every ounce of liquid I had in my system out with one bm. Just keep drinking fluids and you'll be ok.
  6. I was sleeved aug 21st and don't get to start puréed until week 5. Hoping when I see my doc next week for my post op appt they may let me move on faster. I've never eaten this many Popsicles in my life. Lol jealous of everyone losing the inches. I'm down from 221 at surgery day to 209 today, definitely happy about the weight ive lost but wanna see my inches go away too.
  7. My surgeon put me on the injections 3 times a week because my levels were so low.
  8. I had 5 yesterday. It's the easiest way for me to get in my liquids.
  9. Just be patient. I started feeling better day 5 and feel even better everyday now.
  10. I had surgery on the 21st and have one currently. They told me mine is pretty bad and glad I came in today about it. They gave me a liquid antibiotic to take to get rid of it. I'm trying to drink more water, definitely know easier said than done. Also trying to eat more Popsicles cause those are easier to get in. I also picked up a sugar free slurpee to try and get in more fluids.
  11. I have some but don't think I would like something so tight against my stomach and incisions. The ones I have are a tank top with the binder in the middle and got them from target and Ross. They are Maidenform brand.
  12. Thank you all for your responses. Maybe I just need to start being a baby and try it. I've tried turning to my side and I feel like im pulling my stomach, so i just stay on my back.
  13. How long after surgery was it before you could sleep on your stomach again? I have always been a tummy sleeper until surgery.
