  2. You can do it! If you truly don't want the cookie, don't eat it. Try drinking as much water as you can so you are full and cant eat the cookie. Good luck! Merry Christmas!
  3. Just keep at Dianne and you will get there! Congratulations on your decision for a healthier you!
  4. I'm 4.5 months out and cannot touch fried food. I feel so ill after one bite.
  5. It took me 50 lbs to drop one size. Then at 3 mo i hit a 5 week stall and dropped 4 sizes. I carry much more fat in my belly so it seems to make it harder to drop sizes. Now my pants are all saggy in the bum lol.
  6. I lost 50 lbs in the first 3 months. I started at 300 and I am 6ft tall. I'm 4.5 months out now and down 73 lbs. Good luck to you.
  7. Nicely put. So many people here beat you up if you mention eating something like christmas goodies. I have ate a few cookies and half a cupcake. I am still loosing not gaining, but I determined early on I was going to enjoy my holiday season and not feel bad about it. That enjoyment like I said was just a few cookies and a cupcake half and not all in one day. Prior to surgery that would have been in one morning. Celebration indeed! And good luck to you with that last 20!
  8. I have the same problem. My Dr prescribed triazolam and that helped.
  9. Same here. I ate popcorn and felt like I was gonna pop!
  10. Stalls are so frustrating! But it sounds likw you are doing things right. The only thing you can really do is wait it out. You are doing great! Congratulations on the beginning of a new you!
  11. I was so cold this morning and I couldnt find my long pj's when I got out of bed. I grabbed the first thing I could find and just shimmied into them. They are my husbands sweats. A size MEDIUM! I cant remember the last time I could wear his pants. He is 150 soaking wet lol! I also got into the 220's this morning. the first time in 15 years!
  12. I'm Rh negative and gave had 6 syrgeries. Nice ne of which I experienced excessive blood loss. The only concern was my last pregnancy. I'm sure you will do awesome!
  13. I was sleeved august 6th and I am down 70lbs today! I started at 300. Today I am 230. I stalled for about 5 weeks. All of November and the last week of Oct, but lost 3 pant sizes during that time. It does seem a struggle to drop pounds now. But it is coming off slow but sure.
  14. It took me 2 full weeks to show a "loss" because of all the fluids from the surgery. Once that was resolved I started to see great results. Be patient with yourself and don't compare yourself to others is the best advice I could give. You are doing great!
  15. You look amazing! Keep up the good work!
  16. Thanks everyone! I'm so happy with my decision to be sleeved. Iv lost 68 lbs in 4 months. Yay!
  17. No longer classified as obese according to the Bmi calculator. My Bmi went from 42 the day of surgery to 29.9today. Yay!

  19. I had to loose 50 before anyone really noticed. your right, it made me realize how truly out of control my weight was and made me very thankful for having been given the gift of the sleeve. I'm 68 lbs down and 4 months out today. It amazes me I could losse that amount of weight and still have a solid 50 to go!
  20. I havt tried it, but some people swear by bio oil. I think mederma is supposed to help too.
