  1. I took 3 weeks off, I had my gallbladder out at the same time. I might of been able to work part of last week. Thursday and Friday I was wanting to do deep cleaning in my home but knowning I am still on lifting restrictions so I couldn't.

I think it was good I was home, getting used to the food changes have been hard at work. I am on the phone a lot. so I have to make the time to go eat every 2 1/2-3 hours and to plan it all out to make sure I always have something to snack on if I start not feeling good. Done good this week. Glad it is a short week.

  2. I had a headach for about 3 days, it got easier!!! I think the second thoughts are how many times have we tried to diet and never worked.... That was my biggest fear, that this would not work for me!!......... I got over it by reading all the stories I could about sleeve and the positive side. The pictures, how happy people are now. That in 5 months or so you can eat "normal" if you wanna call it that but just very small portions!!!

    Good Luck!!

  3. Yes, depends on Dr. but Honestly from what I have read. I think being on a pre op Diet is the best. It helps shrink the liver which makes surgery easiery for everyone around. I was unable to do FULL liquids but did 2/3 drinks a day and ate salads, 5oz chicken, or fish, VERY low carbs. It helps liver. Then 24 hours before surgery I did full clear liquids, popcicles, broth, jello, water. It was hard but so glad I did!

    Good Luck!!!!!!!

  4. CALL!!!!!!!! don't know how to make it any clear. LOL call them Monday dont wait another day! I would call insurance then the Dr's office. I kept in contact weekly making sure things were in order. You dont realize how many times the ball can be dropped and you have to stay on top of everything. I am not blaming the insurance company or the Dr's office but honestly you think of who all they have to deal with. I had to call on test results that were just sitting there at the hospital and not faxed to Dr.'s offfice, I had to stay on top of both. My nurse at the Dr's office heard from me weekly, either by email or calling. I would call her to tell her what test were done and had she received yet. I also had the nurse drop the ball she was suppose to send me a list of items I had to have done and she forgot. I had psyc. eval. done and was waiting, when I called a week later she informed me of the other items I had to have done. She stated it was on the list and I said you did not send that list to me. She was sorry and faxed over same day to me. Luckily I was able to get in for the test within a couple days.

    Good Luck!!!!!

  5. I wrote a small blog also that gave some of the things I had to do.. Keep on top of insurance BUG them, and I kept in very close contact with the Nurse at the clinic (asking if test results came in yet, caling hospital were test were done and pushing to get back to clinic, and what they needed from insurance) I was going to go through for the surgery to make sure EVERY thing was done correct and fast. from the time of first appointment to surgery date was under 90 days....
