  1. Not that weird, the band does fickle things. Try eating something you are saying you PB on, and while eating it, make a conscious effort of SMALL bites, and chew chew chew. See if it goes down fine. If it does, no need for an unfill, just need to slow down :cursing:
  2. All these ominous titles, always making me nervous. Bye-Bye Old you. :cursing:
  3. Welcome to the forum! Look around, I'm sure you'll find anything you need answered in helping with your research :cursing:
  4. Wow Kat, I didn't remember knowing that. That's so bizarre, gotta love how the gov't can screw you.. just like credit reports(I know you know!!!), they mess up and it's all about making you fix it without their help. Tonya, that is a lot going on. Good for you, not turning to food and congrats on your dad making it through like a trooper!! I would have been so distraught. Snow Judy?! What is that stuff.. So far I had a good food day.. water, more water, grilled tilapia for lunch, and drinking more water.
  5. Go to www.photobucket.com and upload the pictures.. Under the pictures they will have URL's.. the one that says "Direct" is what you're looking for. Keep this browser open, then open another browser with LBT forum. Then select on a member asking for the pictures (their name on the left side over here) <-------- Click their name, and select 'send private message', and then go to your photobucket browser, select the 'direct' URL for one picture, paste it in the message to the person in the private message, repeat for every pic you want to share.
  6. That's what I was afraid of, but then I realized.. there's more. If this fails, it's not the end of the world. It sucks, yeah but there's other options too. Can keep on trying, as tedious as it sounds.. but you just have to realize it's not the end-all be-all. Though, statistics are ON YOUR SIDE, so go in with an opimistic attitude )

Congrats on your success so far & welcome to the forum.
  8. Wow Judy it got there quick!!! No peeky peeky. Russell caught your sick Tracy!! I am the one who wakes us up in the morning, and at about 6am I heard him getting up, running to the bathroom and then lots of heaving and throw up noises :/ By time he came back to bed I had a towel and t-shirt covering up my mouth/nose. I do NOT want to throw up right now. Sneezing and coughing pulls muscles in my belly, I can't imagine what puking would feel like right now (on top of the already painful band pukes). I gave him an anti-nausea pill after he got up 2 more times.. that I got from my obgyn. I looked at the bottle, just looks like nausea meds. Then I went to work early to avoid being around him. Suzanne I sent you an email.. The 30th Birthday party I am putting together for my friend ends up it's all going to work out. Decided it will be BYOB with alcohol (lot of stress off my back), and for venue.. another coworker has a huge house on a golfcourse, he likes throwing parties, he was invited already, and I forgot I could just ask him if we could do it there. He even has 5 guest rooms set up for drunkards heh.
  9. My unfill is still working better
  10. It's a health concern though.. not because they are being mean or something. I didn't have to do it for band, but there was a medicine (accutane) they wanted to put me on and the government actually requires you sign off saying you won't get pregnant while on it.
  11. Yeah I don't like raisins and it would ruin my stuffing!!! I'm not sure what my granny's base is, it's really goopy but not liquidy, but doesn't resemble bread or anything.. his moms is made with bread, which he loves.. she still makes it for Christmas! I actually like both of their stuffings.
  12. Went to the mall for lunch, so I saw the Angel Tree & grabbed a couple. For 2 years now, when I hear them advertise it on the radio--I go down there-- and they're completely out of them! So this time I saw it before I heard the ad, and there were TONS.. all over the tree, all over tables, and they had boxes filled with them I asked the lady when they put them out, she said a week ago.. I told her how last year and the year before, they were always gone by time I got there.. and this 5 or 6 year old boy standing there with his mom said "When did you come?". Heh.. ??? I said I didn't know. He was pretty funny, kept pointing out that every kid wanted a bike to his mom. I got a kid and an adult.. this whole concept was beyond Russell, he was very quizzical about it, and I still don't think he understood. I thought he realized every December I donate to something. I wanted to do Angel tree in the past, but they're always gone.. so I just donate money.. I guess he never noticed!
  13. Even on loose days, cereal is really hard for me. I can eat a biscuit and drink some Water during a meal.. but something about goopy milky cereal clogs me up and hurts and makes me PB most the time. (Probably much like you & soup during a meal). I have soup before a meal sometimes with no issue (but I don't tend to get any sort of chunky/meaty Soups.. I like broccoli & cheese or french onion).. if a soup fills you up, go ahead and make it your meal!
  14. Indeed, you need to make that decision and figure out if that's what your best option would be. I lost roughly 120lbs in the first year, and my crippling back pain was gone after only a few months. Saved my life too No brainer for me, but that's a hindsight proclamation.
  15. There are good reviews for both of them. Has anyone used anything like that? We tried these.. DH did not like it at all, the ring hurt him (even though it was way stretchy), and it didn't do much for me, but it could be due to my spoiledness of my trusty bullets.
  16. For the health of you & baby, you should wait till after banding and after weightloss. This is the most ideal, so you can avoid any of the complications of overweight pregnancies. And not to point out the obvious, but you're young and have plenty of time to have kids
  17. Well my granny, the way she is, would be hurt if someone else brought stuffing. That's her thang. I'm trying to plan a 30th birthday bash for my friend whose birthday is in December. It's sucking for her so far, I keep calling her friends who are in Kentucky (that's where she is from) and with holidays, no one can afford a trip like that.. Hope she'd be happy with the group in town that could come.. She was lamenting about how she never had a real birthday party due to holidays, so I was trying to change that.. but sheesh it's hard!
  18. I am starving all the time and have gained 20lbs now since finding out in August.. 18 weeks today. :/ Wanna swap?
  19. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TRACY!!!!!!!!!! Today is gonna be all kinds of good news, I can tell. Go ahead, everyone share your good news for today! I'll go 2nd Russell's family is officially coming down for Thanksgiving!! I am glad now that I never caused a big fight about it, because now I don't look like a bad guy and I got what I want. I say officially, there's a small chance he has to get the stints (you were right Kat, it has to do with putting them in his veins to increase circulation) before Thanksgiving, but I am hopeful that nothing will ruin this, and the planets will align that he has the surgery after Thanksgiving. Then it turned into, his mom wants to know what to bring. Hmmmmmm. It's such a tradition at our family, everyone makes specific stuff.. like, there's this huge family and even though my parents have a mansion, we celebrate Thanksgiving at my granny's house.. a small 2 bedroom house from the 50's..and we sit on piano benches, couches, and stools at folding tables in the living room.. but it's tradition, so no one minds! Along with that, granny makes the turkey (an old fashioned way where the turkey is always dry, but she won't listen to all the new ways to cook it so that it stays moist!!) and her stuffing, etc.. Russell wants his mom to bring her stuffing, which is a different kind of stuffing. But I think you all can see how that would be an issue, 2 stuffings for 1 Thanksgiving! Dun dun dun. So that's the drama I'm avoiding right now.. Still excited about them coming down!!! And Russ' bro who is 23 just told him he's engaged to this 39 year old with 3 kids he's been seeing.. FUN. I've heard about her, no job,3 baby daddy's and one has tried to beat up russ' bro.
  20. My docs are more concerned about the ringworm, they kind of breeze over my hand issue. My obgyn said to put hydrocortizone on it.
  21. Give it 6 months and according to statistics you'll be thanking your lucky stars for being banded :rolleyes2:) Check back in when you get back! Enjoy the loopy stuff.
  22. Well I thought it odd too, my GP said he thought it was either ringworm or (something else that has a herald patch and goes away on its own) so he told me to put hydrocortizone & lamisil on it. I did that for a week with no change, so I decided it's not ringworm. That week I took all my animals in to be checked for ringworm-- no one had it. My husband doesn't have it either. OBGYN said she thought it was ringworm, and to put lotrimin on it. I didn't for a couple weeks, about 2 weeks ago I finally started putting it on regularly and the rash is going away.. so maybe it was ringworm. It never itched, and I had 2 round circle rashes but neither emptied in the center like ringworm does. They were both on my back. Again, I really am not concerned about that part, though I did find it odd. I'm not a rash kind of person, I can't remember the last time I got rashes.. since a kid w/poison ivy!!
  23. If they say the baby is healthy, I wouldn't worry too much (in fact, I'd feel lucky!!!). I've read in some pregnancy literature that some people can lose, and then in the last couple of months they put on the weight, everyone gains differently. Also, after reading Heather's post.. I just looked at your weight, and I'd say you're enough overweight that it would be hard not to be losing right now with the band..
