Wow that is crazy.. I wonder why no one ever did a fluero?? They would have seen the band was out of place at the very least. The few times I've been worried, fluero is the first thing they do. Glad you're better and back on the wagon!

It's not inevitable though! My boobs are as big (but look bigger due to smaller chest width size) as they were pre-op.. now they look nice because they aren't like 'one with the stomach'. Of course I say they look nice, and I certainly mean in a bra. Without the bra.. well.. it's a sad site, something from a spam e-mail about getting old and what's her name cartoon.....Patty or Betsy something?

I am not in this boat, but just reading the remedies you've found.. Please don't put anything.. yogurt or garlic into your vagina unless you've asked your doc about that :/

My mons & labia are as fat as they were pre-op. I lost 120lbish with no change, so it actually looked really bad.. It sticks out farther than my legs. Rest of me looking good and then a big eh down there. I plan to check into a mons lift when I get a tummy tuck one day.

Not sure how true it is, but my mom said she was trying to get pregnant for years.. they timed it and yadda yadda.. she said they finally gave up, and ended up going over a month without sex.. and the next time they had sex she was pregnant. She thinks it has to do with spermies 'building up' or taking a break, however you want to look at it.. and I have to not think of this as my parents!

I've heard someone mention this stuff before, but I can't wrap my mind around squeezing chocolate or orange flavored fish oil into my mouth lol. 90% of the time with the pills I am taking, it's fine.. but 10% of the time it makes me have fish burps for hours.. That being said, I have never liked fish in my life.. and since pregnancy I am in love with fish.. and even fishy fish like Salmon. I still hate fish burps from fish oil, but I eat Salmon, Tilapia and Catfish on a weekly basis (my doc said I can have 3x servings a week when I told her how I want it all the time and with the mercury thing).

Jane- Thanks for the info, I will keep it written down and let you know if/when it sells. Waiting to sell my car first, who knows how long that will take! One place I am selling it, lists the carfax report.. and it says I have 60,000 miles as of last year! BS!!!!! I only have 35,000 miles on it, so I'm a lil pissed.. don't want people getting confused or think I'm scamming by saying it only has 35,000 when the carfax says 60,000. Gotta love the government, it's when I changed registration from NM to AL that they reported it as 60k. Michelle I am with you about the doom & gloom. I did same thing around 9/11 that I do now.. Piehole report is boring.. 1/2 cup of apple juice this morning.. went to lunch at this place I ALWAYS since banding PB at, still can't figure out why.. PB'd most my food, then ate 3 pieces of zuccini & 1 mushroom and kept it down-so that's all I'm reporting for lunch.

I listed my convertible for sale on cars.com and autotrader, hoping to sell it in the next month and then we're going to buy a used Altima (that's my choice anyway) so I have another 4-door for baby. Hah hah I forget about Tracy getting sick till you bring it up, ohh yah. I guess I was a lil tipsy. But Sunshine to answer your question-- most the time if I have to actually throw up (from a bug) I can only dry heave, and it's miserable. It's hard to get vomit to come back UP through the band for me, and I feel it pulling my band during the heaves. I got food poisoning on our honeymoon and I thought for sure I ripped my band out from the dry heaving. I had them do a fluro to check it shortly after our honeymoon and it was fine thank goodness. I would eventually get a LITTLE bit of liquid to come up, but it was mostly very painful jerks in my stomach. I swear by Emetrol though, I keep a liquid bottle of it next to my toilet just for anytime I get nausea. I take a swig even if I haven't thrown up yet, to keep it at bay and it works wonders.

Ahh Wheet, I missed the update. NO TMI, we need the details! Really, I am with LJM I have actually been trying to read birth stories because I am clueless on L&D! The only good ones I find where people go into detail are natural homebirths, which is not what I'm doing. I haven't signed up for any classes yet, I guess I should?? Like the catheter, no websites I have looked at mention the catheter, but my mom said if you get an epidural you get a catheter, and that was my biggest fear for banding (they ended up not doing it).. I am terrified of the idea of a catheter!! And episiotomies, so I hate to hear you had a bad tear.. you'll have to let us know how long/how well that heals. Anyway.. the natural delivery stories mention the mucus plug and bloody show, but no one talks about bowel movements--these are important things to know. How funny that, when I saw your post, I immediately scrolled down to see pics first (she is adorable!!) and one of my first reactions was "How did they get that bow to stay on her, surely it's not a barette!" Then I read your whole post, and the very end you mention the KY lol. She looks so small, and so pretty <3 Re: Catheter.. I have even posted about it in my blog around time of banding, that's how terrified I am of such things!

Oh I wanted opinions on this, I decided not to do the triple test, where they check for genetic/birth disorders.. I figure either it's bad enough they won't survive, thus it wouldn't survive to term anyway... or, if it's something like down's, it's not going to change what we 'do', it would just inform us.. BUT they have the false positives, and follow up would be 2 hours away for amniotic testing which is dangerous to baby, then it could end up bring wrong all along, causing a lot of undue stress during this time. It really made me scared thinking of it, so I opted out. They told me I can call and schedule it if I change my mind, but I don't plan to. Any thoughts on this? Did any of you do it? My mom was told I had spinal ambifida, they wanted to abort. My mom is anti-abortion, so she refused.. ended up it was FALSE. I guess that's what really was my deciding factor.

Yeah she's been on birth control. He didn't say 5 months, I just calculated/rounded. I am 16 weeks/4 months and she is due 3 weeks before me, so that's about 5 months. She is 19 weeks, so that's 1 week shy. They do all the dating based on the 40 week thing, not sure if that makes a difference in what you're calculating (this stuff makes my head hurt reading the books/websites/doc advice based on 'timeline'). He said they were cuddling last night and he felt it kicking him. I was shocked, I figured that's like at 7-8 months.. But if I could just feel it move, I'd be thrilled. I bought a heart doppler, not sure if I mentioned that? Almost every night I find the heartbeat and listen to it till it slowly moves away..so I know it's moving because I'll hear it loud and clear, then it gets quieter and quieter, and if I move the wand I find it again.. so it's running from the wand!

Busy drumming up business at work, but just had to say a co-worker of mine came in to see me today, he said his wife is FIVE MONTHS PREGNANT and they just found out this week--because she felt it kicking. I've heard about this kind of thing, but wow. She is due April 3rd, and my co-worker is just glowing lol. She has been on b/c this whole time though, which would make me nervous. Plus no vitamins and blah blah, I'd prolly be freaking out, but I am just amazed they didn't know this whole time. He said last night it kicks so hard HE could feel it. Now I'm just jealous, *I* don't even feel my baby yet :eek:

Sorry about the situation with Robby Tracy, I have no sage advice, but I hope it resolves itself and what's best for Robby happens! That's so weird Haydee, small world indeed. I feel like food journal is my best bet too, but somehow when I start going over my daily intake I just stop recording, like.. it won't count if I don't put it down!! But I do try to calculate in my head at the end of the day 'roughly' how much I had. I think I 'roughly' had 3,500 yesterday.. yikes. I had 4 ice cream bars.. yeah, 4. The pepperoncini roast was amazing again, you couldn't tell I added anything..was still too spicy for me to have the au jus, but the meat tasted great. I am bouncing between 228-229lb for days, which made me happy. Then I do something stupid like 4 ice cream bars in 1 day. I haven't met any banders outside of LBT or my doc's office, but I've run into RnY patients. 10oz of Apple Juice & handful of cheerios for b'fast.

I never went to Hershey but my parents did and brought back some cool pics hehe (and candy).. the M&M plant I think it was where they have a bazillion colors. I went to the store and got the stuff for the pepperoncini roast.. that's what's for dinner tonight! I did make some changes this time, in hopes I can turn down the heat. They didn't sell a mild version :rolleyes2: I ended up not being able to eat any of the peppers last time and I had to drink Water after every bite of the rice. So this time I put the whole jar of juice, only half of the peppers, 1c of water and a packet of the lipton onion Soup. We'll see how it turns out, I was googling how to reduce heat in food and they said dilute whatever is making it hot.. so.. we shall see. I'm also making frozen strawberries in sf strawberry Jello. My g'ma made this a month or so ago and I was shocked at how good it was for sf jello. No one at the table knew it till she said it, and most people at the table hate 'diety' foods. Hope everyone is having a fun & safe weekend. My alcholic uncle that has been sober for uhm.. almost 6 months now.. got trashed yesterday. He had a party at his house (which is not unusual) and it was a big football game.. my dad said when he got there he was hammered and his friends were making him some more redbull & vodkas.. they were saying things like "It's good to have you back man!" With friends like that, who needs enemies. He was told he had less than a year to live if he didn't stop drinking and get his diabetes under control.. very sad.

Let Kris know, my docs refer to it as 'she' too, and we have no idea the sex. Russell has be in a 3-way IM with his mom. There may be some trouble coming down the pike, my family has a huge celebration for Thanksgiving with all our friends and family (normally about 30 people).. and we always go. We went to lunch with a friend who asked what we were doing for Thanksgiving, I told her.. and Russell said "This year, we should go see my parents, we've gone to your family's every time".. his family isn't even doing anything :eek: We can go to dinner at his parent's anytime!! His dad has been amidst surgeries for the edema? I forgot the name, swelling.. and they have no plans this year.. so I threw in there, inviting them to come and bring Russ' brothers. She said it depends on when he goes for his next leg surgery.. I hate to be the party pooper (or bitch, however he will see it), but I'm not going up there for Thanksgiving, I already give up Xmas day every year with my extended family to go to his parents.. and Tday is one of the biggest celebrations in my family!!

I saw preview for Underworld 3 and was telling my sister that was Russ' freebie, and that didn't really look like her, she's normally hot.. ends up U3 has them aged or something, she looked weird.. no eyebrows and.. I had a dream about my V's last night! We were off on an adventure. I remember a dirty lake (with turtles & snakes--lots & visible) and I refused to get in, but I watched. Pam had this long gorgeous thick hair, that's really all that stuck out to me besides the turtles & snakes. I kept thinking.. I WANT HAIR LIKE THAT!!! LOL Haydee- We kind of settle on names, just so we have something to call it. For a month now we've called it "Izzy-Carson". So I guess right now Isabelle & Carson are the front runners. It changes every month though, last month it was "Lily-Blake". I can't wait to find out the sex. I can't wait to feel it move!! Some people feel their baby move 3 weeks ago! I'm 16 weeks and 2 days.. and still don't feel nothin'. My nose has been stuffy,itchy, and sneezy for a month now, it is so bad in the morning. I can't take benadryl at work, the few times I did it, I was sorry and ended up having to take naps. Tracy maybe you are pregnant! har har har :thumbs_up: Oh and last time I weighed myself (about 2 weeks ago) I was at 229lb.. gyno weighed me at 234lb Tuesday, with my big shoes on.. anyway, last night I weighed on my trusty scales and I was 229lb still. WHEW. That means I haven't gained in about 2 weeks.. THANK GOODNESS

Actually, here in Alabama it is banned for interracial marriages. It's an old law on the state constitution, and I know a few years ago they had a whatever to try to update the constitution, and I believe they decided to leave the interracial marriage ban in as historical nostalgia-- but it's no longer enforced.
