Hey guys, just popping in real quick cause I need to catch up at work. PRAYERS FOR YOUR MOM TRACY!! Keep us updated. Baby was breech, so she had a horrible time trying to get to his genitals.. and she is a chatty woman, so she's talking 90 to nothing while Russ & I just watch (and try to figure out what she's pointing out).. she never let us just look at the baby 'being'. He is SO active, constantly kicking and stretching and moving arms up, legs out, etc. But she was always moving the ultrasound so I couldn't just watch for a moment, was very irritating. She finally toward the end was able to see the genitals, so she told Russ to close his eyes, and she types "Boy" on it.. so I was like aww.. then when we were leaving Russell said "She said "it's a boy" when my eyes were closed". I didn't catch it, although I was staring intently at the screen waiting for her to type the sex.. but apparently she talks & types and he heard it. I've been confusing him (or trying, but I think it's working) that he misunderstood, and that she put boy & girl and maybe she was confusing herself (she actually did do boy & girl and confused ME at first). Anyway, I think I confused him enough that he's not certain it's a boy. Carson it is! He says Natalie is what he's sticking with for girl, so I guess it's good that it's a boy because I wasn't dead set on any girl names :wink: Going to catch up on work and then go order nursery set.. I was 100% sure which girl set I want, now I gotta think about the boy set.. I liked 2 different star sets, as well as a noah's ark.. She showed us both feet, both legs, both hands, both arms.. everything she pointed out was 'normal', so I am a lot less nervous than I have been. She only gave me crappy pictures, there was such a cute video part of him kicking, you watched both feet just a going.. and she took a pic of it when only 1 foot was showing and gave it to me.. and then gave me this picture-- Head on this side, the top tip is the nose <--->body

Happy pills have a lot less calories than Margaritas!!

Today is passing sooooo slow. My appt. is at 10am tomorrow, so I'm waking up and going straight over. I can't wait, argh!! Like waking up for Christmas, I bet I will have a hard time sleeping tonight.

Not sure where you heard this, I never had morning sickness and was also worried.. my doc said it happens, and when I looked up online, many forums say it's just the luck of the draw and has absolutely no indication as to the health of the pregnancy. So yeah.. I never had morning sickness, I am 21 weeks and nothing wrong so far.

I didn't have this early on, but twice the week of Thanksgiving this year (I am almost 2 years out from surgery) I had a horrible pain in my left shoulder after eating, felt like my arm was dislocated. I googled some info, it seems your diaphragm nerves are actually located in your shoulder! For me it went away after about an hour or so.

Valium is definitely a happy pill :tt1: Only one I ever had was a month of Wellbutrin years ago to stop smoking.. didn't help me stop smoking but I was so happy that month, NOTHING bothered me.. I loved it.

I love the color Jenn! I am the same way Haydee, well kind of, I am too afraid to ask for happy pills. My GP is great and I think he'd give them to me no problem, but I can't bring myself to ask. Mom told me this morning, my dad (who comes back from Vegas today) the day before his trip to Vegas he went to a clinic to get antibiotics for a tooth ache he had.. and while there, they said he had a lump in his lymphnode and needed to go see his GP.. he went out of town but since he comes back today I am going to nag him till he goes to the doctor.

Had an ORGANIC (I get a kick out of this, I don't ever eat organic knowingly but this stuff is so good and I notice it says Organic all over the label) yogurt smoothie for b'fast, and drinking my water. Listening to Sarah McLachlan, burned some of her CD's at home last night to bring to work..forgot how much I like her. So much for 3 days of rain, it's cast-over but sometime in the middle of the night the rain stopped and it's 60 degrees again.

Claire was his idea, Carson was my idea that he liked and Carson is set in stone. Claire is one I started out 'eh' about, but it's growing. I think I still like Rebecca anymore. But like Terry pointed out, it's a BOY so who cares about the girl name? I can't wait till Thursday to confirm it.. I have 2 nursery sets on registry so as soon as I find out I am ordering the correct one (Ya know, just in case my genderometer is off). We put together our tables today, I love love love them. The coffee table, the last 4 screws our power drill died and I think in my nesting I threw out the charger (I didn't tell him, just playing dumb that I don't know where it went).. went to my mom's to borrow theirs, about to go finish that.. It's raining CRAZY out there.. it said we were suppose to get 3 solid days of rain starting at noon today. Luckily it didn't start till we were about 10 minutes from home, then it started pouring.. huge rain, hard to see.. going down the road to my parent's house was a big ordeal, had to go 30 down the interstate from all the flooding.. and lightening that lights up the whole sky.. good time to stay home. So where's my permission to stay home tomorrow?! Oh and definitely use those Zicam swipes, I really swear by them. Russell thought he was getting a cold 2 days ago so I made him swipe.. and he never got sick.. Happens everytime I think I'm getting sick.. although can't use them during pregnancy and when he said he thought he was getting sick I wished I could do one to be safe.. so far no sick though.. just my pregnancy-rhitis. Sniff sniff, sneeze.

I am the opposite.. I think I'm having a boy, and a boy name was picked out and agreed on relatively easy.. girl names have been hard for us.

You know what I meant :thumbup: And as for your Christmas mugs, wish you'd said something, I could have put the graphics together for your on Cafepress and I believe coffee mugs are $10 each. And I know Cafepress charges more than they should, so $75 for 3 mugs is ridiculous.. The only g'father he ever knew (but died when he was a kid) was named Elwood, so Carson Elwood was thrown out there. I really am not much of a stickler for middle names, it's not like anyone uses them. Marie for a girl just because it's the family middle name we pass on in my family.. for a boy, he can do whatever middle name he wants as long as I can yell it easily when the kid gets in trouble

Hah as much as I love my violets, Violet makes me think of the Willie Wonka girl.. it's not a name I would want for my kid! I was surprised to see Violet is in the top 100 popular names for 2007, again never met a Violet.

LOL ya'll sound like my mom. She hates this woman who married one of my dad's old partners.. Becky. She said if I name my kid Rebecca (which Russ & I like), they will be called Becky.. All the Rebeccas I ever knew were really 'cool' girls, and none of them went by Becky.. they were Becca or Rebecca. So I told her it depends on the nickname we would call her, and I don't plan to say Becky. Rebecca is the front runner right now, just because it's a name we both really liked. He threw out Claire today and it's one I had thought of, but didn't think too much about it.. but the more I say it, the more I like it (mom said she doesn't like this one either). She is having a fit with how difficult Russell is being.. she likes all of the original names I came up with (like Isabella-Izzy). Natalie is a new one he threw out too, a name I never thought about because I've never known a Natalie, but I don't dislike it. Makes me think of the singer Natalie Ambruglia(sp). I doubt Brianna will stay in the running, I keep saying it, and it never sounds like a normal name to me.

Well I've been going over baby names with Russell a lot lately, since I find out boy or girl on Thursday.. if I keep asking him about a certain gender he's going to catch on, and I don't feel like playing both sides to keep him guessing.. rather have it decided ahead of time. So for boy, it's definitely Carson. Not sure middle name.. but not too concerned, we've had several options and any will work. For girl, we finally narrowed it down to.. Natalie, Claire, Rebecca, Rachel, and maybe Brianna (he actually came up with this one.. which is an odd name to me, and he thinks EMMA is 'out there'..I've never met a Brianna).

No I don't feel the baby kicking, my belly is just heavy and uncomfortable, and when I change positions I cramp up and it's really hard to get comfortable. Wow Judy.. you can keep it!!!! It's 60's today but sure feels a lot colder. Woke up to a local school being on lock down, a man with a gun was seen near the school. I kept saying I bet it's a hunter.. and sure enough, ends up it was a hunter! The economy is making collections a pain at work..and I made the mistake of helping our collections lady with some of my accounts because I guilt my customers into getting their payments in.. and now she always comes to me if they don't answer her in 24 hours. Back to work, just dropping in to see what ya'll are up to!

Had some Japanese chicken for lunch, and then a frosted cookie from the cookie factory in the mall (omg), still working on it actually heh. Went to hobby lobby with mom, everything is 50% off, if we didn't have something specific we were buying I would have gone absolutely nuts (and I didn't bring my money). My new tables come today, going to go home early and set those up, then going to my parents to help set up their Christmas tree, then do some craft my mom found.. carnation trees or something..

Maybe not, but flying definitely lowers your immune system, so a minor infection that your body would ordinarily fight off could become devastating.

I ate like a whole bag of cheetos over the past 3 hours with my friends, mindlessly eating.. and about 6 cookies.. now I am payin for it, I feel so bloated and gross.. ugh.. And I'm laying in bed trying to sprawl out and Apollo is being extremely needy.. Trying to figure out a present for Dirty Santa.. weee. 4 days till I find out if it's a boy or girl!!!!!!!!

Prilosec is a class C I believe, and says not to use during pregnancy.. My doc gave me a list of meds I can take for heartburn, tums and zantac.. which don't work for me. It comes and goes, so it's not as bad as when I use to have it horribly and needed prilosec, it's just the days it does hit me, would be nice to pop a prilosec..

I'm due April 23 going off of first date of last period, but at my first ultrasound my gyno kept saying "Are you sure?" and when I said yeah she said "OK I guess that's what we'll go off of" and they changed my chart, which means my ultrasound said I was either less or farther along, but she didn't tell me which way.

I would say you're pregnant kat, that's exactly how I feel about being starving non-stop :biggrin: Friends coming over soon, I made chili-3-way for 5! Too tired to get dressed, ugh..did too much on my feet the past 2 days, my back is not happy.. and can not stop yawning.
