I've thought she was an idiot since the first time I realized who she was.. Oh but that book a Million Tiny Pieces (or whatever) wasn't her book, it was just a book that a supposed recovering addict wrote, as a non-fiction biography..so she had him on her show and glorified him, then it came out this guy wrote it fictionally.. and she looked bad, but the actual book had nothing to do with her, and she didn't write the book.. the guy fooled everybody. A friend from LBT told me about the book, I bought it and started reading it (fiction or not, didn't matter much to me), but it was a slow start and I never finished it.

I bet this becomes a non-event once you're holding him in your arms :thumbup: Kind of like the pre-op diet, really sucked and time drug on when you're on it.. but a year out from surgery it's such a non-event in the scheme of things.

Piehole report.. -Sugar free kool aid (still on my first bottle, so now I know if it's not water, I won't drink it as much.. no more kool aid) -3 taquitos w/guacamole & cheese dip for lunch (they were yummy) - chips & salsa Ooo carson just kicked me, he must be reliving how yummy it was too. Tonight is bowling night, normally we go to Cracker Barrel but with Russ & my dad not there, I'll be eating at the bowling alley.. its all fried crap, probably get corn pups & tater tots.

Russ called and said he decided not to go to the doc. UGH. He said his headache went away (didn't know he had one) and he is still vomiting. I gave him my anti-nausea meds this morning, he said they aren't helping. Read this today and I liked it, thought I'd share..

Step away from the chocolate Kat!!! It sucks how this has come about, but the bottom line is you now have a new grandson!!!! You'll get to see him soon Went to lunch with a coworker, Russ called and said "Is it bad if I vomit blood?" YES! So I told him to go to the medical places down the road. Waiting to hear an update, although those places take forever so it could be hours..

I'm hungry too, and since Russ is home sick I'm fantasizing about where I can go (we never agree on places, so there's my favorite restaurants that I never get to go to). Slacking on my water this morning, been running around too much. I filled up my water bottle with sugar-free grape koolaid today. Mmm.

Any of you know if Best Buy takes things back without a receipt? his gma got us a digital picture frame, but it's one that doesn't work unless you sign up for a $10 a month photo hosting program (scam!!!). Don't want to hurt her feelings and ask for the receipt, but it's a $150 frame that we're not gonna use.. I made the best.. BEST alfredo sauce I've ever had in my life last night. I made tortellini w/meatballs, and made alfredo sauce.. my parmesian had molded, so I used a 6-cheese italian blend instead, and it was ...so...good. I just picked out the meatballs and dipped it in the sauce. Also put peas in it (I sneak peas into any pasta dish I make so we have veggies, and Russ won't eat peas unless I cover it in something else). One of my lights at work, due to the flooding we've been having is leaking water.. so I keep hearing it drip drip buzz.. waiting for it to explode or something.

Wooohooo Kat & Jenn!! I woke up to Russell moaning for my nausea meds.. then I get them, come back and Gracie starts gagging and pukes at the end of the bed. ARGH. She's still sick after $300. Not... happy.

Not sure if I had any head issues, I was born a fat baby, and since I can remember I just love food. It tastes good, I like it in my mouth, etc. I think that's why the band is good for me, when I'm at a good restriction, eating becomes a chore and I lose the enjoyment from it, so I eat less. But back to my current (not so restricted) reality, we went to Quiznos for lunch.. I had a bistro melt "Sammie" which is a small flatbread sandwhich.. was alright, wish I'd gotten different filling.. was real beefy and spicy. Also ate vinegar & sea salt chips, and 1/2 red gatorade. We had layoffs here yesterday morning, one of the girls laid off screwed up our sample room (one reason I think she got the axe) but I didn't realize just how screwed up it was until today. I spent 30 minutes trying to find a sample of one of our dies--with no luck. I finally gave up, it's such a headache in there. I asked the girl who use to have that job (somewhat jokingly) if she plans to fix it.. she said she did, eventually. YAY!

I think my fills will be $250 when I have to start paying for them. I have 2 more free fills.. holding off till Carson is here, getting the .5cc put back in and hopefully that will tide me over till I get into onederland!! People at work are always bringing cakes & cookies, today someone brought in a big mix of cut up fruit. MMMM. I had a strawberry, some grapes and a piece of cantelope.. and I brought a banana from home for b'fast. I woke up early today so I did make a hot chocolate while I got ready for work, but I used my lower calorie one (doesn't taste as good). They're both Nestle, one is Rich Chocolate and one is Chocolate Meltdown.. meltdown has almost double the calories some reason, but it tastes num num. I ended up gorging last night, I do it every night, when I go to bed suddenly I want all kinds of crap and the band lets it through. I had 2 thin pork chops & cabbage for dinner, then an hour later in bed I had a bowl of Cap'N'Crunch and then 30 minutes later I had a PB&J sandwhich. I was wanting more, so I made myself go to sleep!! I need to get my late night eating under control, but it's so overwhelming :wub: Carson is kicking higher, he's normally always kicking right below my belly button, and yesterday he was kicking my upper right side, just below my ribs. Guess he got flipped upside down! I miss my energy pills, I notice what a difference they made.. didn't care about eating much, was always on the go, and the days passed so quickly. Now I'm dragging and the days take forever. Good job ladies on the pouch test so far!! Jenn- As for your new beau, I can kind of relate, I don't like a guy that is too maliable (trying to think of the best way to say it). I don't want a push over, or someone who drops everything for me. I guess that's what is suppose to be good, but anytime I've had that I get really bored with them. On the flip side, I would not stand for a guy like Kev either!! I think there's a happy medium, and you sound like me.. won't be happy with the guy who will smother you. Definitely tell him to back off in a nice way, and see how he reacts. If he says ok, but can't back off.. I'd move along.

"Natural" means different things to different people-- I have come to find out recently. Over the holidays a few relatives asked me about if I planned to do "Natural"--which I understood to mean vaginal vs. c-section. But they meant it as.. minimal medical intervention (no epidural, etc.). Something I learned over the holiday break, now when someone asks if I plan to have natural, I say.. I plan to be doped up, because maybe they don't really care to know if I'm having him via my vagina! Christina, I emailed you!

Oh, did I tell ya'll Russell got me the Wii & Wii Fit for Christmas? It's back ordered for eternity probably, I hate holiday crunch items like that.. I normally avoid them, but he heard me talking about the Wii Fit for a while and decided to get that.. I wish it'd come in sometime soon, but he cancelled the original order and waiting for anyone to have one come in stock.. Anyway, I read this website that has funny customer interactions from the employees.. saw this one today and laughed..

Glad to hear the good update Newlife!!! Without bleeding, I tried to stay unattached for a long time, just worried 'something' would happen. Finally gotten over that, I guess when I did the 20w ultrasound and saw him and he was moving and doing things babies do (wiping his face, kicking, etc.) it finally seemed real. Since then I've cleaned out the nursery, and made plans to go look at furniture, I'm ready to get it all set up!! My new years.. I was in bed & asleep by 9pm. I'm a fuddy duddy like that.

Haydee you sound like a commercial when I was reading about old Mexico. I could hear the voice on tv while the camera panned around lol. I'm sold!! :wink_smile: Russ wanted a girl, I'm pretty sure.. but he's not disappointed I don't think. I just got back from the obgyn. I had a glucose test this morning, so last night I had to stop eating by 7pm--so I went to bed!!! Woke up at 6am and started drinking this orange sugar water stuff. Doc did test on my iron & glucose, and said I was 'unusually' normal. I am not anemic at all, and she said most women have to do 3 hours of testing for the glucose stuff.. but not me! My BP was fine too. So all is well.. except? MY WEIGHT. She nagged me again about my weight gain, said I've gained all I can gain and need to not gain anymore (uhm ok). The nurse made the comment about the glucose, she said "This is baby's first sugar rush, he should be moving around" and I said "This isn't his first sugar rush, but yes he is" and she said "I'll pretend I didn't hear that". Really? Pregnant women don't eat sugar? I have had some pains in my left side, which could be normal ligament pains but due to the pelvic kidney being on the left side and I only hurt in the left side I brought it up.. so she is sending me for renal testing this week to make sure my kidney is still functioning right. I also scheduled the 28 week 4-d ultrasound, and she told me it can be hard to get a good picture if you're over 200lbs, blah blah. I get that, but I did the 4-d at my first ultrasound and was over 200lbs and had no problem? I wonder if 200lbs is based off of someone shorter. Well, I'm doing it regardless. 30 minutes of videos & pictures of Carson! So that's a lot of words, going to get to work now.. ugh work! These holidays have made me lazy.

Ya'll sold me on the soup, I'm not doin the test but the soup sounds good.. I likely won't do tofu tho, is that to up the protein or something?

Never had problems till the last 2 items, which is making me really irritated with people.. but you're right, and I have seen people do that. In the future that is what I'll be doing. I just don't want to deal with a wet TV (It's been raining for weeks).

Craigslist makin me want to pull my hair out. What is with the nut jobs on there recently?! We got a new TV, so I am GIVING AWAY our old tv. It's 32", works fine (Russ just made me get the new tv). Not even selling, just whoever can come pick it up. Got 7 responses in an hour. First guy, I told him I have to get it out of the house (it's big and in the middle of the floor now) and if he could come get it at noon today. He said yes, I said if you change your mind please let me know so I can contact one of the other people (meanwhile I let them all know someone already asked about it, but I'd let them know if he backed out). Anyway, 1pm comes, still no sign.. so I called the guy, he said he got busy with something, he's going to call his uncle who will call me and come get it. 2 more hours pass, so I call him back and he says he lost my number and was calling his uncle right now. Uncle calls me and says "You have a tv?" and I tell him yes, he asks the brand blah blah, I tell him and he starts talking about how TV's don't sell like they use to because of the economy and all kinds of random crap. I said.. I'm not selling it, it's FREE. He goes, well I just left Madison (my city) and I don't know if I want to come back. What the hell?! So I'm like, OK but it'd be nice in the future if you let people know these things in advance. Meanwhile, I emailed all other 6 people and said whoever can pick it up today it's theirs and left my number for whoever to call me. GARRRRRR..

Can't wait till our get together, could use sitting around with hot tea & my V's!! I found this in the suitcase, Ripley's had a gene machine.. they combine you to show what your kid will look like, we thought it'd be funny to compare one day. Nevermind that we both look like we're in a mugshot, and our "kid" is wearing all black and looks kind of evil?

I pee really well after surgery lol. I remember the revision surgery they said I had to pee before I could leave, so I go to pee in the bowl so they can measure it, and I filled up the entire bowl, it was like a 1/2 gallon! The nurse was shocked. Take your pain meds Jenn!! Woohoo Tracy, I will live vicariously through your weight loss. I won't even tell ya'll how much I weigh now, it's depressing. My only comfort is that as soon as Carson is here, I am tightening up the band and it'll all work out.. right? I picked up poor Gracie from the vet, after we dropped Russ' car off this morning. She was sedated luckily for the enimas, but they said they had to go in and scrape so she is on pain meds.. she's all big-eyed. Can't imagine what that feels like, hopefully Apollo will let her rest. After we go pick Russ' car back up, someone from Craigslist is coming to pick up one of our old tv's. Giving it away for free, just want to get rid of it.. wish we had someone else to help move the furniture out of the nursery, gah I am so irritated it's still not done!!! My parents leave for the bahamas this morning for a poker tournament my dad won a trip into, when they get back me & mom will be shopping for nursery furniture. I'm so ready to get it set up!
