I'm going to have to go look up John Travolta's thing, that's so sad :tongue2: I took Gracie to the vet, and as she told me the results I thought of Michelle. They X-rayed her, said she was dehydrated and had a TON OF CRAP stuck in her, and it was all hard since she was dehydrated. They let me look at the xray.. then they pointed to something that seemed to be causing the block, and said.. they need to do enimas and hydrate her and then they will re-xray to see what that is.. Well it ends up the enimas and everything worked like a charm and out came a bunch of artifical Christmas tree.. so she's been eating the tree.. DOH. They are keeping her till morning to make sure when she eats, she keeps it down. Michelle how much did that run you? It's going to be $250 for us. Then I went to Publix and got healthy food. Forgot how expensive healthy food is. Then Russell says he scheduled to get his tires changed tomorrow.. at 7AM!!!?!?!? What is wrong with men?! I said "Have fun" and he goes "I need you to pick me up" ARGH.. I asked why so damn early, he said "That's when they said they could get me in" and I told him how that's when you say "7am is too early, what else do you have?" Sighhhh. So much for sleeping in. I think I had a fever this morning, my allergies are nuts right now. Today's intake.. 1/2 of a chicken wrap from KFC Lots of Water & Vitamin Red grapes w/cream cheese Hot chocolate made with skim milk(which I PB'd a lot of it some reason) And I'm going to make dinner soon.. Russ went to go pick up Cassy from his parents, I am thinking about making either cornish hens or salmon.. but not really in the mood to stink up the house tonight with salmon.

We sound alike Pam in the things we slipped back into  GOOD LUCK JENN!! Purple vibes your way. I went to TN on Christmas day for Christmas with In-Laws, then the day after Christmas till this past Tuesday we went to Florida to visit my g'parents (dad's parents) for Christmas. Went to the zoo, Dirty Dick's Crab Shack (mmm), Ripley's Believe it or Not, and the beach. Fun stuff.

10 weeks pregnant with port pain
I'm lucky I guess that my port flipped and they moved it from my belly to my chest. I do notice some insignificant pain where the incision (I guess where the port use to be, the scarring inside). It's very minor in the scheme of things, but I would think some port pain when the baby pushes on it is normal.

post pregnancy, band too tight???? Help...
Agreed, go get an unfill ASAP. If you let that linger too long, it can result in a slipped band. Congrats on the baby (and only gaining 18lb!!)

Good luck on your pouch tests!!! Yesterday was my good intentions, started the day with 2 boiled eggs.. then mom called me over to do our good luck hoppin' johns.. I ate a few bites.. then some pigs n a blanket, then almost a whole box of Junior Mints.. then I got home and raided DH's stocking candy (10 or so hershey kisses). argh! So last night I threw away both our stocking candies, my turtles from work, and any other tempting evil. No more sodas (I had fallen back into these lately), no more candy, and no more fast food. I stopped eating fast food post-band, but post-pregnancy I've been eating it at least twice a week. No more! I can do it! I stopped by Burger King on the way to work and got an Orange Juice. Leaving work early today to take Gracie to the vet. I hope it's nothing serious..

Pregnancy Hunger - Is this normal???
Yes.. yes!! ARGH!!! I am starving all the time, and if I don't eat regularly I get soooo mad. Christmas day with the in-laws, she was cooking turkey all day and I didn't know when we were eating. I was ravenous, I kept begging DH to go sneak me some turkey meat. She finally brought out cheese & crackers and in 3 hours, I ate the entire platter. I was emberassed at first--kept going back for more, then by the end of 3 hours I didn't care anymore, I was so hungry. We were on a road trip back from Florida Tuesday with my parents & DH and it's a 6 hour drive. As soon as we left (I was up since 7am, we hit the road at 11am--no food yet) I said let's stop for food first. My dad talked about making good time blah blah, and I started yelling. I said "YOU DON'T HAVE TO EAT BUT LET ME GET SOMETHING!!" and he said he'd stop at Dothan which was 2 hours away. I started to tear-up, telling him I couldn't wait that long. Then he did the old trick he did as a kid "We'll stop in just a minute", then we get to stretches of road with no where to stop, and we didn't stop till Dothan. The whole time to Dothan I kept tearing up and my stomach hurt so bad, I was so hungry and miserable. I thought about staging a PB so they'd have to pull over at a gas station at least and let me get something. Yeah it's pretty pathetic, if I get hungry and don't eat something I am a wreck. And I will act like a diva and throw a child like tantrum to get it!!

Banded for 10 months, 5 months pregnant and putting all my weight loss back on!
Curious to know OP's outcome! I'm sad right now about the weight I've gained so far (depressed is a good word for it), so I'd like to hear how it all went away..

Pregnancy Rash?
Right, both my OBGYN and GP kind of wishy-washied about it, neither of them came up with an answer (neither seemed concerned either, but they were concerned about the rash on my back-they thought it was either ring worm or something syphillis). It wasn't syphillis (duh), so they treated it for ring worm and that did go away. My hands are still cracked & rashy, but it flares up more-so in cold weather. Psoriasis is prevalent on both sides of my family, so my dad let me use his psoriasis cream on it. It does help, so I guess that's it.

Happy New Year V's!!!!! I am so behind in posts! Hope you all had a great holiday break, and were safe last night! I slept through midnight (oops). I fell asleep around 9 I think. When we got back from Florida one of the cats has been getting sick, diarhea looking vomit all over the place--carpet, their cat tree, my recliner.. I tried feeding them wet food last night, so whoever it is can keep hydrated. So at 12:20 last night I wake up to Gracie gagging next to my head so I wake up immediately and pick her up, and she projectile vomits LITERALLY 10ft, covering the floor and Russell's side of the bed. It was everywhere.. and it was the wet food. Vet is closed today, so I locked her in the bathroom with water & her litter box. I've been slowly cleaning up the vomit piles, there are so many and most were hard from when we got home. Ugh. The car I got is an '08 Nissan Altima. They gave me a good deal on it (I was looking at an '05, but it was only 2k more to get the '08 which is pre-owned and had 10k miles). I love the tinted windows. And it has a TON of room in trunk & back seat, reminds me of a luxury car like a Lincoln or Cadillac on the inside with all the room in it. It doesn't drive as fast as my convertible, but oh well. I started reading Snow Flower & the Secret Fan while in Florida, I am halfway through so I will probably spend today sitting around reading. I need to clean the house too, including the dry spots of vomit that I've let soak with wet paper towels (yuck yuck yuck). I feel Carson every day now, woohoo. He is a kicking machine. I hear if you look at times they are active, it's an indication of their schedule when they're born.. Looks like he likes 2am, 7am and 11pm the best! During the day he's very much asleep. Oh, anyone want to come over and put away my Christmas decor? I am with you Judy, I am throwing out all candy today!! Russ is too, he said he's dieting starting today. His g'ma gave us a digital picture frame for Christmas and included some old pictures of him in it.. has pictures from when I first met him, I forgot how skinny he was!!! (This is back in 2000) This was us at Christmas with my sister. And here's a baby bump pic, it's officially there.. this is with sucking my gut in!

I logged in last night to catch up and then got distracted and left the browser open! Can't stay, got a lot of catching up to do at work. I'm using an '08 Altima today, test driving it really.. but they're tryin to rip me off so I'm likely going to be passing on it. Bummer!! THANK YOU TERRY & JANE!!! You girls are too sweet ((HUGSSSS))

LOL Terry! I saw a onesie somewhere that said "Boob Man" I was like oh geez. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I got up earlier than I planned, so I got an hour to kill. Christmas with my family was fun last night, except my sister did bring her girlfriend, her old old girlfriend that we all liked, but then they had a horrible break up and she told us these horrible things about her- so now that they are back together it's hard to accept her back. Made for a bit of akwardness. I don't think I made eye contact with her the whole night. Got all the baby stuff I picked out with my mom, and we put together the stroller & carseat. Russell is excited about a boy-whew! LOL We picked out the middle name- Micheal, which is his dad's name and also my uncle's name. He got to feel him kick last night too. My parents also got me a surprise present I didn't know about.. a digital video camera! I've never had a video camera before, never even thought about one.. so that'll be neat. Mom (jokingly) said "So you can record the birth and put it on youtube" hah hah! Yeah right. Going to head over there soon to help them cook breakfast, then do dirty santa with the big extended family... then off to Tennessee! It's nice and warm out, no rain so it should be a pretty drive. My brother was saying "Yeah when you have a baby, Christmas becomes about them not you" (because all of my Christmas besides the camera was baby stuff) I was like yeah I know.. I guess that was a downer for him when he had my niece, but I never have anything I want for Christmas anyway, so I'm glad to be getting all that stuff!! He got tickets to a Phish concert in VA, so he was stoked. They are getting back together for a reunion tour or something, and he said he plans on following them around the country. Must be nice, not having to worry about a job or anything at 28? Anywho.. glad you liked them Judy!!! Off to get dressed, hope everyone has a great day and I'm a bit jealous of those of you having a WHITE CHRISTMAS. I have never had one

Funny you say that Tracy, I came home before Russell cause he needed to finish stuff and I had to get home to pack & finish wrapping. Glue trap worked. He only got his tail & 1 back leg stuck in it, so he was trying to run with it, and is wedged behind my night stand. UGH. I had to close up the room (so cats don't get it and so I don't freak it out anymore) and now have to wait for Russell. Now what???? My mom said my dad throws them away, but that sounds horrible.. but the alternative is Russell having to kill it, UGH?!?! Very squeamish right now, glue traps sound horrible but I only put 2 glue traps and 6 of the snap traps.. and the glue trap is what worked.. figures.

Ohh thanks for the suggestion Heather! I don't know what's out there, I just got what I found at Publix (the snap traps inside a round disk thing). They didn't have those boxes. If we haven't caught it by time we get back from the holiday vacation I'll venture to WalMart to see if they have them. My parents had rats sometime this year, I know they used the glue traps outside and a bird got caught in one, my dad had to drown it (they live on a lake) They were telling me not to use the glue ones.

I just shopped on Christmas Eve, how weird!! I've never done that before. Russell has wanted a sports coat for years, and when me and mom went to Burlington Coat Factory this weekend I saw they had well priced ones. I didn't have his measurements at the time, and I knew I wasn't getting back out in this traffic.. But it's down the street from work (we are near the mall, ugh it's been a nightmare getting home for 2 weeks now). So I thought maybe it won't be too bad in the morning, sure enough it wasn't horrendous. So I got Russell a sports coat! I'm not PBing, but like.. nausea throwing up food from last night.. gross!!

Merry Christmas eve ya'll!!! I doubt I'll be on at all tomorrow, bouncing between houses and going to TN. I tell Russell that Carson has a wee-wee tonight! He's been sitting here trying to guess all morning based off of random things I say.. we got these specialty art prints (that we printed) for Alabama/Auburn football today and I collect them every year; we don't care much about football but I told him one day our kids may like football and we'll have these expensive, limited prints to hang up in their room. He said "So it's a boy?" and I said "I said KIDS, they're going to be boys? Why can't a girl like football??" hehehe! No luck on the mouse front, hopefully when we get home today it'll be caught. I heard it on Russell's night stand last night (it woke me up) eating out of his pop tart wrapper. I told him about it this morning, he says I was dreaming. Nope. I'm a light sleeper, it woke me up and I was awake for a while listening to it--and it upset the dog (cats were sound asleep though!). Can't believe he left food out when he knows we're trying to trap a mouse. For Christmas morning every year my dad gets a couple gallons of gravy from Cracker Barrel. We've done this for 10 years now. He went last night to get it, and some new manager was saying we couldn't do that.. my dad said What do you mean, can't do that?? The guy said they don't have that much made.. lol.. so my dad said "so, make it" and the guy told him it would be an hour, which is fine. Dad came back and the guy tells him he's lucky because they told other customers "No" to this. Why?? What a stupid manager.

Bah can't get gmail to load!! I FOUND A MOUSE!!! I *hope* it's one mouse. I've never dealt with mice before, so I'm getting frustrated really quick. Me and my cat Apollo were laying in bed, heard a noise in MY night stand (why mine?!) so we both sit there looking at it, I jiggle the nightstand--still there (I thought a toy was going off LOL). So I move the nightstand and it stops. That was weird! Go back to TV, and I see a brown mouse go running across the floor board next to my bed. Never seen a mouse, and surprisingly it didn't scare me. It made me lose my appetite though (I ordered steak out and immediately didn't want food anymore). So Russ & I discuss our options, with cats I'm afraid to do traps, and poison is definitely out. I went to Publix, they had those traps that are inside a round thing, hopefully my cats can't get into them. Put 4 up in the bedroom, and put 2 glue pads down (closed bedroom door so no animals go in there). I go about making the chocolate lasagna and cleaning since we'll be going out of town from Christmas till next week. Go to the Christmas tree to bag up presents for tomorrow night-- and there the little booger is again! Dangit. He's been very brave, hasn't run from me (which kind of worries me). So I moved 2 of the enclosed traps to the Christmas tree, bedroom is still closed up, and I don't know what to do now. I am going to take up the traps in the morning till we get home from work again, but grrr.. how long do traps take? Is the mouse going to attack me in my sleep? I don't know what mice do..

psoriasis??
I had psoriasis on my ankles really bad, and it did go away after I lost about 80lbs (I contribute it to better circulation--but no doctor confirmed that). However, I have developed psoriasis on my hands in the past couple of months despite the weight loss

Morning V's! I'm all into the holiday spirit  Hopefully no one is diabetic at work, or we're going to send them into a coma by proxy. 3 different people made cakes/cookies.. then there's a 5lb box of gourmet belgian chocolate cookies, several other candy tins (most of our customers send us cookies & candy for holidays), and 2 boxes of fresh donuts! I tried a donut, PB city..so being content with my water. I know one of the girls who made cookies, keeps waiting for me to eat one (she is always looking at me for approval) and over Halloween I told her she was evil for bringing in all the candy heh heh.. so now she always likes to make sure I try her food.. I didn't! Must refuse. Making chocolate lasagna tonight, I need to eat nothing today so I can alot for the calories of eating the leftover pieces mwhahaha. Just kidding!! I had a dream last night I ordered a chili frittata (which I don't even know what that is) at McDonalds and they gave me (Subways') teriyaki chicken inside of a tortilla. I woke up throughout the night going "What the heck is a frittata?!" I just googled it.. it's an omelet thing.. how did that term bounce into my dream vocabulary?? Hope you all have a good day..

I got 2 presents early today!! Well PAMela, I didn't know you didn't wrap them so I opened the box.. SO CUTE. I added it to my closet collection of baby stuff (I am going to take a pic one of these days, I seem like a crazy person hoarding all kinds of baby stuff in this big closet..you'd think I was going to kidnap a kid and it will live in there) and I love the fairy cards, those are the kind I normally buy for myself--but haven't in a long time! (((LOVE MY PAMMY))) Then, I had a package that (still) says out for delivery-today.. and UPS came.. brought Pam's package and a Pajama Gram. I thought, maybe my thing came in a Pajama Gram package, couldn't remember where I ordered it, so maybe an ebay seller sent in that.. anyway, it was a lovely pajama set with a note "Merry Christmas Baby" OOPS! I told Russell he should have sent it to himself, apparently I wasn't suppose to get that yet. It's nice fluffy furry pajamas, great for weather we're having right now! And it's cute that he picked them out, I don't think he's ever bought me clothes before so I've never seen him pick out something for me to wear. Anyway.. went to mom's and helped her wrap her last presents, she put $100 bills in random medicine boxes for all us kids.. tampon box, duculax box, immodium box, etc. (She's a funny lady sometimes). I said Russ has to get the tampon box, that way I'll end up with his money.. he's so funny he won't touch my tampons or pads, the boxes even..so he's going to open it and drop it on the floor lol. And I'm off to bed, I am exhausted. Jane I know you won't get this now, but I'm really praying for you that you don't have to spend Christmas in the hospital

Looong boring day, this week is so dead.. most of our customers are closed till Monday already. Went to Chili's and had my Tilapia today.. mmmmm it's SO good. sleeping is even more uncomfortable, I hate it, feels like I'm pulling a muscle in my belly no matter how I lay. I can't wait to ice Cookies & play Santa for Carson! Not next Christmas, but Christmas '10.. woohoo. Someone at work got me a hot chocolate gift set, but they didn't leave a card or anything so I have no idea who gave it to me to thank them. Some reason I remember this happening last year too..

Banded & Hoping to get Preg - join in!
I was convinced it was a boy, I had dreams it was a boy..and sure enough! I did want a girl, but only for the cute nursery & clothes. Healthy is all that really matters! And boys never grow up to hate their mom. My baby wasn't being cooperative, he was sitting breech so the tech had to go back several times to try to get a good picture, and she couldn't get far down enough most the time. But he was kicking his legs a lot, so didn't have to worry about him covering up.. not modest! I know DH really wanted a girl, his mom had 3 boys trying to have girls and gave up.. they really wanted it to be a girl, so I think he wanted to be able to give them that lol. Oh well, maybe next time.
