psoriasis??
Hi all, just wondering if anyone out there suffers from psoriasis and if the band and good eating has helped, i suffer quite badly but have been on a low gluten diet previously and it seemed to help alot, thought that since white bread etc is quite difficult to eat once banded that it might be a cure of sorts  anyones experience greatly appreciated

Taking Pills = how do you do it?
Debbie 100/60 blood pressure is more on the low side and if it is that consistently I wouldn't have thought you would'nt need to take meds, i'd go and get that checked.

How Bout New Zealand
Hi Fiona, I'm newish to this and this site has been fantastic, I am still waiting to be banded, with Fris as well, we must live pretty close to each other spoke to Ainsley today looks like it will be mid October, was slightly disappointed cause i just wanted it done !! Anyway, sounds like alot to get used to, at the moment I feel like I am having my last supper every time i have something to eat and stuffing it down, even though i know i have to go sssllllooowww, can't believe its supposed to take 20 mins to drink a bloody up and go, so will have to sort my head out on that one. You've done it once so you can do it again and keep us posted, I sure will be, this is like my new hobby lol

Who are you telling?
I have only told my mum, a friend who is also getting it done, and my sister cause i think she should do it too, otherwise noone else, am yet unsure how to go about the work thing, but working with alot of women who constantly analyse everything that goes into your mouth i couldn't be doing with the hassle.

hold up due to night shifts!!!
thanks guys for your responses, its great knowing there is a place we all can go to vent that is supportive and understands where we are all coming from. I'll get over it, my roster is done till after the new year anyway so HE will just have to get over it.

hold up due to night shifts!!!
the unfortunate thing is i don't have the luxury of being able to change surgeons as he is the only one (small country NZ) says its something to do with the day night rythm (could never spell that word), it is depressing to think that this could screw up my chances of having it done
