  1. I have this and it's very helpful in letting me know when I've eaten enough. Dr said its a nerve the LB presses against and it's wise to listen to it.
  2. Floridays is right, time to track & measure
  3. Continue to think of you also. We're here for you. Keep us posted how you're doing.
  4. I was a lucky one that didn't have one!
  5. I believe in you too! Thoughts & prayers with you!
  6. We're here for you, anytime you need us! We're also a 24/7 support group. Stick around!
  7. You're absolutely right! I went for 6wk post op check and Dr (God Bless Him) said "that was all you (36lbs), band hasn't started working yet, but I promise soon it will". Hang on through Bandster Hell!
  8. WOW!!! What a beautiful couple! Congratulations!
  9. Yes, call your Dr! It could be nothing, but you do have to worry about blood clots. Don't mean to scare you, but if it makes you call dr my job is done. Keep us posted!
  10. All things are possible, only believe!
  11. Have a better suggestion, block us!
  12. I remember this MiniMi and it broke my heart. But you continued to be a positive support to everyone else. That's when I knew I really wuved you!
  13. They're not called Banded B's for nothin! Need an honest, no coddle answer, ask a Banded B!
  14. I'm thinking maybe your Dr was right and the reason you couldn't keep things down was eating too fast or too big a bite or too much. IMO That being said, I'd still go back and just be honest and say it didn't work out. DRs deal with this stuff every day. Remember"just b/c we can eat anything, doesn't mean we should". Best wishes!
  15. I really don't understand why ppl can't believe they gain after adding real food. You've gone from liquids to food, from almost starvation diet, to food. Of course you're going to gain a little. Most of the 13 lbs was fluid that you were pumped with and from swelling. That is why this is not suppose to be the losing phase, but the healing phase! Stick to your Drs orders and e everything will begin to click. Two weeks is much to soon to get discourage!
  16. WTG Chad! I believe the head start you have pre op , the easier post op will be. Best Wishes! Keep us posted on the date.
  17. Best Wishes to a speedy recovery! I'm excited for you too!
  18. There's nothing I can add to what these wonderful ladies have said. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!
  19. You are being completely normal. I know I for one thought about calling it off. So glad I didn't. Focus on the new you, how about what you're going to look like next Christmas, woohoo! You can do this! Thoughts & prayers for a speedy recovery & a successful journey!
