Had surgery on 5th..experiencing shortness of breath walking up stair.

Please call your doctor and ask him. It could be the anesthesia, but I can't be sure!

Yes, call your Dr! It could be nothing, but you do have to worry about blood clots.

Don't mean to scare you, but if it makes you call dr my job is done.

4 years ago when i had my 1st band put in all i was given for pain was panadol so i couldnt take deep breaths and couldnt cough without feeling like i was ripping my stomach open. When i was only walking a few mins i was short of breath and almost chest pain. I saw the doc and i had bilateral lower lobe colapse. Basically the bottom of my lungs werent getting any air. So it maybe that? Please call your doc. Best of luck and i hope you feel better soon

Thank you all took your advice..went to the ER scan showed no clots. My breathing has actually improved. I have a follow up next week
