  1. I think if someone wasn't nervous there is something wrong with them ,lol. You can do this! Yep, there is good and bad stories, but if you've done your homework you would know the odds are on your side. The odds of dying from problems from obesity out way the odds of surgery. Can't wait to hear about your success!
  2. Way to soon to throw in the towel. Go for your fill and ask to speak with your nutritionist. Are you journaling? I know you can do this! It might take awhile but you CAN do this!!!!
  3. Sojo on here has said that extreme nausea could be from dehydration. Really try to chew on ice chips.
  4. That's cool you have a brother who is an inspiration to you and can help you through this. Still expect to see you here though!!lol
  5. Please take care of yourself!!!! You don't realize how much surgery does to your body. Your emotions run high. After my hysterectomy I cried & cried and I didn't even know why. Get your rest!

I would highly suggest you take this next 10wks(if your Drs behind is correct) and get to know everything you can about the band. Knowledge is power. I'm quite a bit older than you and I only wish I had done this sooner. Sorry about losing all the important women in your life. Yes, you have to get health for your girls.   9. Really sorry to hear that Lisa. I don't understand why insurance company's choose to pay for treatments like B/P, Diabetes, heart disease & strokes instead of stopping it before it gets to that point. Hopefully you can choose another policy at enrollment time. Best wishes!

  16. This was really a good question! I would have never gave it a thought. Thanks! Recently my GD needed an MRI but she has a clip in her heart and it took 6mths to find out what kind of metal they used. If it was a real emergency not knowing this could cause a problem.
  17. Congratulations on weight loss! My granddaughter is onMiralax . She has been since birth (her stomach doesn't work), you can adjust the dosage to get the results you need, but please, please please talk to your Dr. first. Good luck!

  20. Really sorry you are going through this. Thoughts & prayers for a speedy recovery. I have a 12 yo granddaughter whose stomach has never worked since birth. She has a G&J tube for feeding and does very well. So I know how frustrating this must be for you. Hang in there!
