How many of you recent sleevers are hungry?
I was sleeved 2/10. I really didn't get hungry for the first few weeks. Now...I eat two oz of cream of wheat before I go to work. Around 11:30 or 12 I do feel hungry but it is never as stong as before. I can always pop a little protein in (a few bites of cheese, protein bar etc) and be fine till lunch around 1pm. You fill up pretty quick...it really is differant. Good luck

Progress is a slow process
First of all....don't get down on yourself. Everyones body is differant and people tolerate (or don't) differant things and lose wt at differant rates. I have had a few bouts with fatigue and find that it is directly related to my protein and fluid intake. Keep trying assorted types of protein. What I like prior to surgery I did not after and now use isopure (clear liquids protein drink with 40 gm of protein, 160 calories, 16oz) i get fluid and protein in at the same time. I have also just started using pure protein bars and added some dry roasted edamane. Good luck and keep trying!

Long day!
You'll feel better soon. My surgery was 1/10...was weak and tired the first two weeks but started getting stronger after that. i returned to work 2/8 and am actually tolerating it well....good stamina. I was worried about returning to work and getting tired...I am a hospital nurse and am on my feet most of the day. One week in....all is good. Good luck!

Made it to One-derland...for a short visit only-help!
That happened to me around the 210 mark...I actually increased my calaries a little...kept with my protein and fluid intake steady and it started to drop again. I am now 203 this morning and looking forward to that one on the scale. Good luck!

Low BMI of 38 would you do the surgery or have you done the sleeve?
I was just over 37 BMI and am 5'6. I had my sleeve 1/10/2013. I too could loose 45 to fifty pounds on the lo carb diet and DID....several times only to put it back on and more. I decided to have this proceedure....I wanted long term weight loss. I have hi b/p and hi cholesterol so my insurance did pay for this. The sleeve is only a tool in my wt loss journey....I have to do the rest! Good luck

3 week post update
Yogart is good....greek yogart has a good amount of protein in it so if that work stick to that till you feel better. Sip your fluids very frequently to try to get the in. Good luck!

Marriage - I Don't Know If...
We have a great marriage and I have still heard my husband (who has been very supportive of my decision) make comments like....I hope you won't find someone new after you loose all your weight) This is so UNLIKE him.....I just laugh it of and reassure him. I am four weeks post op and he has actually been dieting along with me so he can get healthier too.....he only needs to loose about 30# and has already lost 10 of it. Sex is easier for me too....thats definately a plus.

calories on liquid phase
I was told to get in between 600-800 calaries a day. Honestly it was hard to reach 450 most days while on liquids post op. I am four weeks out and try to keep around 600 to 700. Good luck

Taking Each Step as They come
If you have a wt loss support group in your area I recommed that you go. We have one local and it has a mix of peopel there.....sleevers, bypass, lap banders......we all have the same common goal and same frustrations and concerns....it DOES help to talk over you concerns.
