  1. The surgery was the best decision I have ever made. Its changed everything. How I eat, act, exercise, cook... There are so many reasons that I cant even begin to name. Maybe a good suggestion is to write down the pros and cons...and see which one looks better? My only regret was not doing this soon. As the weight fell off, my motivation went off the charts. Once you see the difference in you... ya cant sit still
  2. My surgery date was 05-10-2012 Presurgery weight 376 lbs 5'8 Pants size 28 with a gaping waist, because I was blessed with a large badonka donk Shirt size was a 3 to 4 x depending on the style Shoe size was a 12 Now I've lost almost 150 lbs Pants: 18/20 depending on brand Shirt 1x to 2x again depending on brand Shoe: 10.5
  3. I use extracts in my shakes everytime I do a vanilla Protein, with lit vanilla soy along with a few drops of coconut extract and it tastes like Cake batter ...yum You can also use a plain protein, and use a couple drops of pineapple and a couple drops of coconut extract and make pina colada ... Also to chocolate protein, you can add a few drops of mint or strawberry..and its amazzzzin. Also I use PB2 with the cocoa, and put about a tablespoon in plain protein and its really good that way too
  4. Thats why I use soy milk. I've never had sock mouth
  5. I mixed my shakes with extracts to change the flavor. I would also add a dab of pb2 to say banana flavored protein and it was awesome! Changes it a ton.
  6. Isopure is a prtotein flavore drink also. I've heard that they are really good too. Can be drank warm/cold.
  7. Mentioning the best rate, My doctor only charged me around 9,500, because he knew I was self pay
  8. You can also make a loan. My hospital actually offers loans to patients for just this purpose.
  9. Dont freak!! I started out at 376lbs. I lost over a hundred in four months, but hit a stall recently. All I wanted to do was sit and cry, but.. I didint. 13. Evidently single men are in short supply.....
  14. The alcohol in the Nyquil might make your pouch upset. I took some childrens cold liquids and it seemed to help. I would ask the doctor Hope you feel better.
  15. I'm feeling tons better, My blood sugar apparently was really really low, my friend who is diabetic took it, and said I needed to eat some sugar. So I took a few sips of a flat coke and ...wallahh I felt tons better . Thanks everyone!!
  16. I was asking because I called the doctor and she told me that I was having a allergic reaction. My response to her was are you serious? Because I told her I took the pill like twelve hours ago and ... All of a sudden I having a reaction to it. I was asking the forum because before I called my doctor back and made myself look like an ass for cussing her out, I wanted to make sure this was not something to do with ex: low blood sugar, the fact that Ive lost so much weight and things react different, or Fluid intake... I wanted to check to see if anyone else may have had this issue, BEFORE I called the doctor back. P.s. I love you toooo Pdx I just wanted all my ducks in a row before i had to throw a b***h fit, just seems stupid that the doctor is telling me I am having an allergic reaction..12 freakin hours later.. Really?! Turns out, the nurse where I work told me I was dehydrated. HA! lmao
  17. I read the side effects. My problem is....i have them a day later?
  18. So, I was having some severe sinus pressure, along with the hay fever itchy watery eyes, etc. I took some Lodrane that my doctor had prescribed from before surgery at about 5:00pm yesterday evening. At about 5:30pm last evening I was high as a March Kite, I assume the lodrane was a tak strong. Right now, I'm fuzzy/light headed, look pasty (so my co-worker told me) and I have the shakes. I ate this am, and last pm and have been trying to get some fluids in, but does anyone remotly have an idea? You know before I start freaking out.. I dont have diabetes or anything lilke that, or anything else for that matter... Thanks

  20. My hair started thinning about 3 weeks after surgery. I've since then started taking Biotin and I have noticed little hairs poking up after I fix my hair, so its coming back. I think it had a lot to do with the anesthesia, and rapid weight loss.

  22. OMG!!! I'm not retarded! I really thought something was wrong with my a%$! I dropped a 116lbs, and my butt kills me! I have to get up frequently at work (Sit down job) and car rides are torture. Someone recently asked me if I had a hemaroid problemm because I kept squirming!!! LOL!!
