September 25Th Sleevers!
Hello everyone!! Haven't been on in a long time!! Hope everyone is doing great!! I have lost 53lbs since surgery, only like 2lbs to be in the 100's but I seem to be in a stall pattern. My 3 month blood work showed my Vitamin D was very low, iron was border line and potassium was low. So added a prescription of D, over the counter iron and eating a banana a day!! Still struggle with getting the 80 - 100 grams of protein a day but am trying to make every meal count!!! Had started a pretty good exercise routine but got sick the day after Christmas and have fallen off the exercise wagon!!! Going to get that started again today!! I have found that if I eat too much I get the hiccups and I have started losing hair, it's not noticable to any one but me at this point. Have a great day!!!

Are you taking any type of acid blocker? Don't know if that could have anything to do with it. Just a thought

- Anyone Had Dumping Syndrome?
I just stopped everything but my Vitamin and pepcid and just drank Water. Mine started Wednesday evening and didn't really stop until Monday night. I was weak and didn't feel great but I drank lots of water. Good luck!- September 25Th Sleevers!
Well my full liquid diet has not gone well. On Wednesday I had some drinkable yogurt and it went right through me. Since then every time I drink anything but water the same thing happens. Called the Dr on Friday and the nurse said I had dumping syndrome(thought it lasted an hour not days!). Drank nothing but water all weekend. So tired and weak. Drank a little isopure this morning and so far so good. On a good note I'm down 27lbs that includes my one week pre op diet!!- Anyone Had Dumping Syndrome?
How long does it last?- Help! Lactose Issues!
When you make potato soup and a lot of other creamy soups you use milk. Also it adds protein.- Help! Lactose Issues!
Haven't tried the almond milk. Will definitely get some! Thanks!!- Help! Lactose Issues!

Ok so I've been cleared for full liquids which means adding creamy soups and drinkable yogurt! Had a yogurt today and my stomach did not like it at all!!! Most creamy soups have milk, and I've tried soy milk and its not a lot better!! Any suggestions??- September 25Th Sleevers!
Got cleared for full liquids today!!! Never been so excited about soup!! Went to Cracker Barrel and had some potato soup broth. Brought the rest home and gonna throw it in the blender!! It was sooooo good!!- Shocked By Sleeve Experience!
I had my surgery 9/25 and today I noticed I could drink quicker. Still small sips but not as long between drinks. I am also on clear liquids but am drinking adkins shakes. They are doing great for me I just take a few sips then add a little bit of water to thin it up. Go to Dr tomorrow and get to start full liquids. Never been so excited to eat creamy soups in all my life!! I did "eat" a fried cheese stick tonight. As in I chewed the cheese then spit it out. It was sooo yummy!!- September 25Th Sleevers!
