  1. I am not offended by the ppl that don´t believe my story. I have no reason to lie and yes there is a lot more to say. I have had the lap band & the plication as well before vsg- (both were removed). I have yo yoed all my life so I decided to end this weight battle once and for all. I would share more if SOME people were not so agressive here- but for the ones that DO support me THANK YOU this means a lot to me. I really wanted to share all this from before my vsg surgery but I didn´t want to get discouraged. I am so happy with my sleeve and enjoing eating less so much! With the band I lost some weight temporarily but then it got swollen at the valve and had it removed in LA. Then after a couple of years I got the plication, and was a complete failure. My new doctor knows all this and he decided to help me...

  3. IF IT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOU WILL FIND A WAY, IF IT IS NOT YOU WILL FIND AN EXCUSE"

  4. Yes, I agree tropical class and delta girl, We all have our reasons. Right now I am 140 and I also want to be 115-120 and wear a bikini! It was been a journey for me too. I have been even heavier than when I got the sleeve. I have felt a lot of pain by being overweight. It seemed like that was the only "thing" I didn´t have. Everyone told me I had a pretty face (only) and money was never a problem, so for me it was embarrassing when some people said things like "you have such a pretty face- it is such a waste" and comments like that nature. I tried exercise and diet but my craving for food was always there. I didn´t want to wait till my youth was over I searched and searched for the magic pill until I found the sleeve. I may sound superficial to some but I just want to share my real story. I haven´t posted much around the site so there is a lot more I want to share with all of you! Thanks for supporting me.
  5. The decision I made was cosmetic. I talked to the medical staff and I explained my weight history to them. They decided to go ahead and help me. The surgery was done in Mexico (as I´m sure many of you would have guessed.) In the USA it would be nearly impossible. I am very happy with my decision and it was not and easy one at all. But I am happy now at the other end and I just hope I will loose all the weight I want to loose. I want to be 115-125
  6. Hi everyone again this is me! I just took this pic a few days back. I am sorry if my profile was not up to date but I was a little hesitant bc I was scared of criticism because of my weight. I recently just uploaded a picture of my entire body from the side. Can you let me know if you can see me? I do not have experience for uploading pics in this site. But I will continue to show you my process.

    POST SLEEVE

  8. Hi thank you for all your comments I want to thank all of you for answering so quickly! I did not expect it. The picture is NOT me! I just couldn´t find a real one so I chose the one of who I want to look like in the FUTURE, I will upload a REAL one as soon as I am done writing this. I have a lot to say... first I want to thank all the members who supported me in my decision. It was not an easy decision and it wasn't overnight. I thought about it for years and decided to take a step towards my dreams. I understand many of you may feel surprised towards what I decided to do but a lot of things came into consideration. I would have to tell you more about me, but for now, I want to answer all the questions you might have. Yes I am 5´3 and I had it done at 154# approximately. <3 let me upload a pic
  9. Hey everyone I got the sleeve at 154# and I have only lost like 15#. I want to get to 120#. I just had the surgery 1 month ago. Did you guys keep loosing after one month? I guess I thought it was gonna be faster than this! I guess since I didn´t have that much to loose it may be slower? Can some of u pitch in some thoughts on this since I can´t make up my mind. I haven´t lost more weight recently and I have been able to eat a bit more so I am loosing hope. Any suggestions or comments?
  10. hi how are you? I just had the vsg a month ago and have lost only like 15 pounds. is it too little? I was only 154 when I got it. do you think I will keep loosing? am I loosing too slow?

    I Admit It...i Have Cheated A Bit

Do tell your Doctor about the cheating cause it could interfere with the surgery!
  14. Hello everybody, I can´t believe everything that´s happening to be before the surgery date in a week from today. My boyfriend has been helping me pay for the surgery for months now and I can´t believe we broke up a WEEK before the surgery... I think I am nervous about it that I am extra sensitive, I don´t know but I need someone to tell me that everything´s is going to be AMAZING because I have been waiting for this moment for a LONG time and I can´t believe I am facing this breakup plus surgery without him, he was like a husband to me. Anyways; I should be okay I am just shocked! I am getting my surgery on Sept 4 in México and have everything ready, expect his support....
  15. I had the same kind of thing happen to me. What I did was take Bach Flower remedy it worked for my nervousness I guess I was stressed that I had financal and emotional as well as social things to worry about so I came across them and worked like magic! Like it says above there is no time to think negatively! Whatever you decide just be certain about it and assume all the risks.
