  1. Wishing you well!! Take care of yourself. I hope your back to 100% very soon!
  2. It could be a lot of different things. For now I would suggest drinking lots of water and contact your surgeon. Have you ever had back problems or kidney stones?
  3. My avi hasn't changed for a long long while but I sure have, I'm still not that confident with myself so I hide I guess some things don't change, I thought I might lose some of this shyness with the weight loss but I still feel blah
  4. Hang in there sweetheart... You're going to be okay... I promise
  5. Your almost three months out , you don't have a leak or internal bleeding. Just stay calm, they will figure it out. Just breathe And get someone up there with you so they will give you pain meds
  6. They will check your blood work to make sure your levels are ok... Leg cramps can be caused from low potassium , they will be able to see all your levels They should also get you a ct scan to check your gallbladder and kidneys and bowels Your pretty far out for a leak so I think it's something else
  7. They will most likely get your pain under control then give you a ct scan and check your gallbladder, kidneys, and make sure you don't have a bowel blockage. I'm sorry your hurting
  8. You can have pain meds like lortab, hydrocodone etc If you get an iv pain med you can have all of them even torodal because its intravenous
  9. Fyre, what's going on? Did I miss a post? What happened? You can take anything but not NSAIDs
  10. It's hard to get any doctor to see you after another dr has operated on you. I don't see it being just a Mexico surgeon thing. I wouldn't let her worry you. Write down everything pros and cons and make the best decision for you.
  11. I constantly wet my mouth while working out. Being on a high Protein low carb diet has made my mouth dry dry dry and when it gets bad while working out I feel nauseated. I'm actually adding more carbs lately like more veggies and salads. It's helped a lot with the dry mouth.
  12. Laura , I used to have a friend that imagined wild dogs chasing her when we were on the steppers. My legs would be burning so bad and she was like don't stop the dogs are coming lol I stopped anyways lol I am always afraid now of wild dogs chasing me and I can't out run them. Hehe I would get off that machine and my legs felt like wet noodles. As for hydration, I still struggle but I can drink more at one time now. I just need to carry water with me like I did in the beginning.
  13. That's awesome... Some nights I still snore for some odd reason but most nights I'm a silent sleeper Congrats on the NSV Girls night here you come!!!
  14. Never thought about the standing naked part... Ugh that part alone terrifies me
  15. I'm hoping for some kind of positive outcome to this as well. It's nice to have lost the weight int face but the neck area doesn't look so good.
  16. Just be aware that your abdomen will be swollen for quite a while as well. The first six weeks stay off the scale and wear comfy clothes. Your body is recovering from a major trauma. You will do great Don't cause any extra worry for yourself
  17. This is just a little bit of what I've experienced with the sleeve. I've been to three er departments And spent 7 days in the hospital and two surgeries and not one single medical person I met knew what a sleeve gastrectomy was ... They either called me a bypass patient or a band patient... It was so frustrating. Sorry I know that wasn't your question. But just thought I would share my experience.
  18. I think I need to try them... What section of the grocery store sells them?
  19. So happy for you! You look amazing Way to go!!
  20. An average adult has 206 bones in their body. People can have different number of rib bones and bones in their hands and feet that make doctors average the number of bones in a skeleton. Bones themselves can have different densities. We know this from people who have thinning bones due to Osteoporosis. The interesting thing that is substantiated on this quest is heavy people with a BMI over 33 never get Osteoporosis. They have greater bone density. Bone density is increased when you do activities that put stress on the bone structure like weight lifting or in this case carrying around excess weight.
