I know we can't take NSAIDs I will look and see if there is anything else.

Like Advil, ibuprofen, toradol..

Is it true I can't take slow release pills?!

Tylenol...for pain... that is the only over the counter pain reliever I am aware of that we can take.

..

Fyre, what's going on? Did I miss a post? What happened?

You can take anything but not NSAIDs

I just asked my husband ( he's a PA works in the ER) he said just let them know and you should be fine.

Is it true I can't take slow release pills?!

Not the best because they don't sit in the stomach to long but won't kill u either

fyre if I was in your shoes I would head to urgent care to get checked out. Best Wishes and I will be praying for you as well....

They will most likely get your pain under control then give you a ct scan and check your gallbladder, kidneys, and make sure you don't have a bowel blockage.

I'm sorry your hurting :(

Good luck. That's scary.

Toradol is a potent NSAID and although it is not absorbed in the stomach (I.e. injectable) it blocks prostaglandin synthesis which protect your stomach lining. This is the reason NSAIDs cause ulcers, not usually from the first pass through the stomach.

This is what the husband said anyway...
