  1. Dianne who is your doctor? Dr King from where? He said he was calling to inform this office of a forum thread?
  2. I can't see profiles... Who is your surgeon Dianne? Dr who king from what city state and hospital?
  3. Hey Susie, I loved diet dr pepper... After surgery I just knew I couldn't have it so I didn't ... It was just like that, pre surgery I could give in to my "need" cravings ... After surgery I knew it could be damaging so I just dealt with the "absence" After surgery you will be saying no to a lot of things for a while... It's just part of having major surgery on your stomache. I just included that in the whole lot of things. Try not to worry too much but do be determined to not sabotage yourself after surgery.
  4. So glad you're doing better! Thanks for telling me about the aleve. I will start back on my Dexilant and pick up some aleve tonight!
  5. Ah that's good! I'm glad your not hurting, I can relate to constant pain. I think I might consult my physician about aleve... I wake up so stiff and hurting its almost unbearable... If I could take an aleve maybe at night then I might not hurt so badly in the am
  6. Ouch!!! Ask your doctor for tramadol It's safe with the sleeve and works for joint pains, arthritis, bone spurs, disc problems You name it
  7. I didn't ... I was in no shape to work out at my weight with my high blood pressure and aching body. I saved that for two months after surgery. After surgery I just walked my heart out and boy my legs hurt!! They didn't recognize what I was doing to them!
  8. Also increasing your Water helps a lot That's when my weight loss was best... Water helps flush everything out and keeps your body functioning in prime fat burning mode
  9. The scale is the enemy... It drove me bonkers... Use a measuring tape and keep track that way.. As for protein drinks just make sure if your going to do another shake don't eat and do a shake unless you need the calories. Be patient... It will happen Also write down dates if you weigh... Sometimes it feels like weeks and its just 5 days
