  2. I asked that!!! We have to mush the bits in our mouth so chew your soup lol We look crazy eatting soup lol
  3. Don't worry about calling your Dr. He is a professional and your health after surgery is his job. Definitely call when you have concerns.
  4. I would do less, I know it sounds frustrating but honestly I'm 8 months out and I can only do half an egg...and I drink maybe 2 oz at a time with breaks You just had another procedure so your intake is going to be minimal at best. Do try and keep up your fluids...I understand tight restriction...even water is still hard for me. I am wishing you the best and hopefully you start feeling much better!
  5. Soups and more soups!! Maybe you will get a buffet style dinner and find some soft puree like sides. Have fun in Vegas!!!
  6. Hi Becky, I'm so sorry Maybe for now you can do tiny amounts and more frequent meals? I sure wish you were feeling better. How much are you able to take in?
  7. Sounds painful I'm not sure, maybe an ulcer? I would say it warrants a call to the Dr. I hope you start getting better!
  8. I still struggle to get in 2 oz at 8 months out but I'm happy for the restriction.
  9. Oh I just heard Dean say that with an Australian accent Keep typing Dean LOL
  10. I like this...though I think it should be given a forum not just a thread...I just can't think of a name for the forum...
  11. I think ill give it a try My girls will sure have fun watching me and I will definitely work up a sweat!!
  12. Just to be clear it was brought up by CLK and she said she was sorry for the offense taken but stated it was not intended to be related to the holocaust. Other posts used the term in reference or response to the topic. I find the word stupid or idiot or dumb ass offensive since I care for my handicap niece but I'm not forcing anyone on here to police their every word. Lord knows stupid is used very disrespectfully and definitely meant as an insult.
  13. After 8 weeks then the answer would be yes, but it is not recommended. Alcohol has many calories and will not help on your progress with your weight loss. Alcohol intoxication will also hit you a lot faster with the VSG than other surgeries.
  14. Your lortab is in a suspension liquid made safe for the gastric lining...also it is temporary benefit that out weighs risk. Alcohol can ulcerate fresh wounds but you can do as you like its your body
  15. No lol only mcdonalds hamburgers would survive the mail time LOL
