This is one you probably need to call your Dr. about. I almost sounds like you are feeling the restriction but on to little food, maybe there is swelling issues or maybe the stricture is still a prob

Don't worry about calling your Dr. He is a professional and your health after surgery is his job. Definitely call when you have concerns.

So, as some of you know I had some trouble post-op with eating and drinking. I had a stricture and was just so swollen that anything I ate or drank was extremely painful. My doctor admitted me to the hospital recently and scoped me to dilate the opening to my stomach so I could eat and drink. I still have some pain with eating and drinking but it's better however now every time I eat or drink anything I feel gross. I don't exactly know how to explain the feeling it's just like I'm way too full and I just ate like ten pounds of fried food. I eat protein shakes and sugar free pudding and then things like scrambled eggs. I eat small portions so I don't understand why I'm feeling this way. Am I doing something wrong? Does it have to do with my most recent procedure? It's so frustrating, I hate eating but if I can't eat and drink I'll end up back in the hospital which I can't afford because nursing school starts back Tuesday. Does anyone have any ideas or advice?
