  1. Baby food is really bland.
  2. I am 4 months out and have not started to exercise yet. I keep making excuses and I have all kinds of time. I am retired and don't have to care for anyone except DH. I am a chronic pain person and exercise just increases the pain. I know I need to and I know I have to also but please tell me how do I start? Any suggestions?
  3. Bariatric chewables 3 a day. Petite calcium citrate.
  4. Help anyone! Had another bout with terrible runs. Could not make it to a rest room and went all over myself and the car (sorry if too graphic). It took me 11/2 hour to clean up myself, my shower, my clothes and the car. This happened to me just 3 days ago. Usually after I eat no problem. It is after I drink an hour later that brings this on. But today no drink just a little exercise about an hour after I ate and bam. Is this happening to anyone else. What have you done for it?
  5. Right there with you friend.
  6. Your primary care doctor can give you all that info.
  7. When I was 40 I started to use a Lancôme moisturizer, only after showers. Been using it for 25 years. Naturally the weight has come off of my ballon face I had but the wrinkles are at bay so far. Now my body is another thing. My neck also is showing my age. Oh well I am 66 what do I expect. At least I am down 62 lbs in 4 months. That is a good thing.
  8. It seems from the post, if you are smaller or not a heavy weight, you only do the night before.

I could have ate a dozen donuts with no problem and have before. A lb box of chocolates no problem. A whole large pizza, no. Sweets were my downfall. They never made me sick no matter how much I ate. The more I ate the more I wanted. It seems that I could not stop once I started. I am a true sweets addict. I am having a problem now at 4 months post op. once they told me to introduce carbs it has been a struggle for me still. I couldn't eat a dz donuts now but I bet I could eat 3-4. This will be a problem for me the rest of my life.
  10. You're not pregnant are you?

I am 4 months post op and down 60 lbs. I have gone from a tight size 24 to a 16 1/2 pants. I don't get out that much but people in the immediate family said my face is a lot thinner. My one DIL had not seen me for 3 months and she is the only person that made a big deal out of it. It made me feel really good. We see ourselves in the mirror every day so that is why we do not see it. Others that are over weight in my family and my best friend don't say too much. I guess they are jealous or think it is so easy for us. Little do they know. This is just as hard as regular weight loss but we do get full and I guess that is the secret.
  12. I was sleeved nov 28 and only down 60 lbs and I weighed 275 to start. You are doing great. Are you able to exercise because I have not been able yet.

It will come when you get into meats and other dense proteins.
  14. Eat protein, an egg, cottage cheese, tuna with a little low fat mayo. When you are further along always eat meat or fish first. You will feel the restriction.
  15. I would think you both have developed an allergy of some sort. It has never happened to me.
  16. Have this weeks on DVR. Have not watched yet. I am hooked though, this is a good show.
  17. He loves you while you are thick LOL, this one is a keeper. God bless you both!
  18. All you need is someone to bring you home from the hospital. Make sure you have all your protein drinks, sugar free jello, popcycles, broth in your house before surgery. You need no one to care for you. You have to get up and walk every hour for 10 min and you can prepare the very little you will need to prepare yourself. Your first few days are sip sip sip, walk walk walk. So if mom and dad stop over to visit in the evening they can do any odds and ends you may want done but I doubt it. My husband went to work and I cared for myself. If you had small children then you would need help.
  19. Me too. I want to go up to them and say please look into WLS. Your life will be so much better. I also have 2 sons that each weigh 400 plus pounds. I invited them my DIL and husband to the first seminar I attended. They all went because I said it was to support me. I was so hoping that they would go this route because I don't want to lose them.
  20. Sounds like gall bladder. Greasy foods used to set mine off. I suffered with the same kind of attacks for over a year because we had no insurance and 3 little kids. I was young and knew something very bad was wrong but did not have the money to go to the doctor. Please get an appointment as soon as possible. No sense for needless suffering.

    You look great.
  23. I am interested also because I need to dye my hair and it is falling out also. I am 4 months post op also.
  24. As soon as the swelling goes down, it is like night and day. I was like you and about 5 days I got up and could drink like I used to. I was very excited. It gets better and better.
