My sleeve is Rex, because he was downsized from a T-Rex. And, my sleeve is male because he doesn't like certain things, like chocolate.. and only a man would keep a woman from eating chocolate when she wants it!

These are great!!! I've had such trouble keeping a positive outlook on things lately and the humor about it all helps!! Yes I'm still 100% me but a little fun goes a long way in my book!!
    Keep em coming'

Holy geez. I never thought about naming my sleeve before I read this thread. I thought it was funny and thought on it for a little minute and came up with sleevarella. Smh, just a little fun.

    I named my sleeve Stella.
The few coworkers that know I had surgery know that I refer to my new stomach as Stella and it's basically a code work when I talk about my new stomach not liking something, making noise, or not feeling a certain food.

My husband has named mine "Tim the Tapeworm". He says he is going to tell people I got a tapeworm when he is asked about my weightloss. My husband has a unique sense of humor... . I don't even get sleeved until October 9.

Sleeverella is the plan when I am sleeved. Transforming from the girl hidden in the attic made to feel like an ugly mess to a beautiful princess ( already married my prince charming, did it out of order, sue me, LOL!!!)

I am hijacking off another thread, but I have seen several people have named their sleeve. Haven't picked one for my soon to be made sleeve, so I need some good ideas!

Maybe you should stop thinking of this as an unwanted pregnancy and start thinking of your unborn child. This is a baby you are going to raise and hopefully this child will be a part of your life, for the rest of your life.
Perhaps you should take everyone's advice and get some counseling to help you accept the fact that you are going to be a father, and couple's counseling to teach you and your wife communication skills.

Remember the sanctity of marriage. I'm willing to bet that you said something like, "Till death do us part", or "As long as we both shall live" when you made your vows. This might just be my opinion, but I don't think vows are something one should abandon when they become inconvenient.

I say stick it out, get out of living with the in-laws as soon as possible, and seek some professional help from counselors. No offense to the ladies but pregnancy tends to make them..... well for lack of a better word crazy. I love my wife. We have been married for 10 years and have 2 kids. There have been some ups and some downs as with any relationship but, sticking it out is important. Don't ever let anyone put you down for seeking help. We are doing it for our weight managment issues through surgery so why is getting help from a counselor any different? There are plenty of free and low cost counseling services. Remember parenting is hard. And even as fathers the parenting starts when your wife gets pregnant. For my wife it changed her during and for a year after each pregnancy. For one thing sleep becomes much harder and that can be problemlematic. Also, remember your wife is probably gaining wait, a good thing when your pregnant, but that can make them feel insecure especially if it is at a time that their spouse is losing weight and getting a lot of attention. But, think of this, if she married you at 300 she is probably going to stick with you no matter what because she loves you. I give my wife props becuase she married me as the ex football pro who weighed around 225 lbs of pure muscle. Now I have degenerated into a 370lb lazy couch potato. But, she has been through my side. Perhaps it is becuase I am getting older, I am 35, but I want someone who is going to be by my side in the good and in the tough. Just my two cents. Either way good luck and best wishes.

LOL.. This is great! Keep the names coming. It's a great laugh. Still thinking of what to name mine. Two types of sleevers are really sticking out to me lately, the analyzing and the lets throw in some humor and cuteness to get through this. I will definetely name my sleeve and I will have a cutesy doggie bag for yummy leftovers that will make multiple meals.. And I will still lose weight and be successful. Sleevie ray vaughan bwahahahahah love it... maybe SLeevie Nicks too!! Slevette, Sleevietta, Sleveline, Minnie, Austin Growlers, Sleeva (like diva if she is picky), Pouchie, ok, i will stop now... hehehehe

I was talking about this with my mom yesterday, she said I should name mine "Tiny" or "Slim" which both kinda made me laugh. I have not decided on a name, but I do kinda like Slim =p I'll think on it some more and look through this thread as it grows.

I like the idea of naming it. For me humor helps me tremendously when it comes to something I struggle with. So I am gonna name it, I just need to come up with something funny.
