  1. You may gain a few pounds back at first but don't be discouraged
  2. I am almost 3 months out and I have had 2 fills. I haven't foud anything I can't eat yet. I have eaten - in small amounts - pasta, rice, tortillas with no problems. I eat chicken, pork, and beef. I tried pizza once and had no problems. I have also eaten a few tortilla chips. I haven't tried bread, or cakes or donuts but think it best to stay away from that. Not sure if I am lucky or if this will change as I get my band filled more.
  3. Do you eat pasta and/or bread? I am afraid to so I really haven't yet and was just wondering what others do
  4. i eat a cheese stick and a nature valley potein granola bar for breakfast. keeps me full for 4 or 5 hours
  5. Took me 11 months from my first consult to my surgery date. Sucks but was worth it

  8. I am 9 weeks out of surgery and can't seem to get motivated to exercise. My job is pretty physical and I walk my dog almost every day. After all that I just can't seem to get off my butt to do real exercise. Any suggestions on how to ease into it? Thanks

  12. me too!!! just had my second fill tuesday and feel the same way. I do notice that I am thirstier. is this common?
  13. what does sliming mean? i never heard that before and have seen it twice on here today
  14. I second everything lapbandkeira said!! Everytime I finally fell asleep they came in and woke me up to walk or check my vitals or something. It was so annoying. And I didn't realize how much the morphine was helping until I went home ad didn't have it. I slept on my reclining couch for 3 days when I got home because laying in bed was to painful. Good luck!!
  15. I got my first fill about 3 weeks ago. They put 4 ccs in my band. I don't really feel tight at all and feel like I am always hungry. I just ate dinner and am still hungry. I never eat more than a cup of food at a time. Is this normal? Is this what they refer to as bandster hell? Will it get better after my second fill next week? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
  16. I got 4 and still feel like I can eat a lot. Just ate dinner and am still a little hungry. Second fill next tuesday
  17. yes more of an upset tummy. feel fine otherwise. i took some immodium to see if that helps. i am thinking this will pass but just wanted to see if i should be concerned
  18. I have had a grumbly tummy since yesterday afternoon. I ate some blueberries and strawberries and grapes yesterday - which I hadn't eaten since before surgery. Not sure if the grumblies have anything to do with the fruit or my surgery or just a bug. What do you think?
