  4. Ok thanks its kinda depressing but I will get through it, I just waited so long to have surgery and never really thought to much about the recovery time I was hoping 1-2 weeks and I would be back to feeling good but that thought has so changed.
  5. I'm nine days post op and I got the ok to exercise but I went for a walk today and just didn't have the energy to stay out to long. I am no where close to getting in 60g of protein in, is it because I haven't done much and have to work my way up slowly? Not sure what to do but I'm sick of sitting around all weekend and doing nothing.
  6. I think everyone that goes in for the surgery knows the risk of complications they hear from others stories but everyone is at a different time in there lives and different health status so its ok to have them feeling of what if, I know I thought about dying and what if I did so waking up after was the best feeling ever. Many of the surgons have many many years of experience which is why we pick a center of excellent's and I'm sure your going to do great. Best wishes.
  7. Weight loss surgery can be hard at times I'm 10days out and I'm still getting used to not chugging my water. Congrats on Ur life changes, I bet it feels good to be in a size that's comfortable for u. Good luck.
  8. I like the already made Atkins chocolate shakes, taste just like chocolate milk to me. Tried vanilla and was horrible. Used that for my 2 week liquid diet but havent been able to drink it yet one week after surgery.
  9. Congrats on Ur weight loss. U look great both then and now.:-)

  14. I feel the same way food was my comfort and now Im not able to eat it so I just watch my boyfriend eat his food and I get the same high as if I was eating it but now i don't get that aweful feeling of being to full and being mad cause I ate so much. If that makes sense.lol.
  15. Ok thanks, what did u guys do at home the first week, im four days post op and the only time I've left the house was lastnight to go to Walmart and by the time we left I was starting to feel sick so I really don't want to leave the house again until my one week check up. Anything helps. Thanks.
